The reason I remember is that it was a match I watched from the Manny Road North and I have no idea why as I never went in there apart from one complete season which was Jimmy Armfield's first commencing with a 3-0 dismantling of Bournemouth. Anyway, I recall we won 2-0 and I think Paul Fletcher scored both. We should have scored more and I am expecting that we will this weekend. I would still be happy with a 1-0 home win though. I remember that Bournemouth match because In the morning I picked up my TV175 from a scooter shop in Bury. I got a puncture on the way home which was the first of many breakdowns while I had it.
