So Bradford play Oxford at home on Friday and Fleetwood are at Peterborough. If Neither win and we beat Oldham on on Saturday, we will be at least 9 points clear and at least 11 goals better off, with only 3 to play. That is up in my book! So we can effectively be promoted at Oldham and will know this by the time we play ????????????????????

I of course want the win, but I want us to get promoted at Bury game.

This is only because I've got no Oldham ticket and would love for us to win in front of the bucket shakers

If we only get 7 points out of our remaining games, which would be a poor return, Bradford would have to win all their games, but we would still go up automatically on goal difference. Were up, end of.

If we get 7 we wouldn't need to rely on goal difference. We need 6 to guarantee promotion and 5 if you assume we maintain our goal difference advantage. 3 or 4 more points should be enough in all likelihood.

Think it's likely we will go into Oldham game 4 points clear of Bradford.

Just hope we turn up as Oldham have held Sheffield and beaten fleetwood at home recently

Think we will be ok could get a little close to the bone than some people think though

Eggzackly! PP got to get them up for it for Oldham, as JS will have them up for it, like their cup final with a decent crowd on. Edited by Ratwhite

Agreed. Can see Fleetwood and Bradford both winning their next two. Reckon we'll draw at Oldham so Sheff U will be on the beach for Bradford at home.

That will put us a point ahead of both going into Bury, which we should win at home.

Win at Port Vale or the others don't win that week and were up.

We are now guaranteed a top six finish.

At some point the other clubs chasing second will need to focus on the play-offs, for which 79 points is currently the potential requirement.

Both Fleetwood and Bradford City are likely to give up on second the next time they drop a point.

Scunthorpe have an interesting run-in. After MK  on Good Friday they play the current bottom three.

Charlton also have to play the bottom three, plus Gillingham, who are currently 20th and have played a game more than Port Vale.

Currently 58 pts is needed to guarantee safety, although that will drop whenever PV drop points - they have still to play all of the top three.

Fleetwood and Bradford City are currently equal on points and goal difference, with only a difference of one in goals scored, so a tie for third or fourth is feasible.

[Also in theory they could tie for second, but let's not go there. That would however require a play-off for second before the standard play-offs.]

Can you plug into your computer and just tell me when we're getting promoted please?
