Alf Hartigan Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I got pensioned off on ill health a couple of years ago. Someone told me to put a PIP claim in, so I looked at what the questions they would ask and it was obvious to me that I'd get it, if I embellished the truth slightly and my doctor would sign it off (which they would have). I decided not to bother but it's clear that plenty do. Quote

I think there will be riots and social unrest all over the shop. Let's see how it unfolds. I think that's sensationalist BS peddled by those unable to accept that the world will never be a melange of multicultural countries living in peace and harmony. Human nature will dictate that this can never happen. They want what we've got. Make no mistake about that. Human nature. Let's say you're right though. An even bigger incentive to restore a strong and resourceful military. Vote Nige. Quote

See I think that your worldview is sensationalist BS peddled by those unable to accept that the world is too small to keep 8 billion odd people culturally and racially hemogeonised and in a world of climate change and over population - conflicts of interest are going to happen at an ever increasing rate, and we need to get better at accepting that the realities of yesteryear are no longer appropriate. Am totally and 100% with you this one. I hate thinking that we're a second of third rate world power. I'd be investing heavily into our military at the expense of other services. Quote

Apart from the spelling of 'homogenised', in a way we agree on this bit. The population is too high. The main reason flocks are abandoning a wide band each side of the equator and heading to more temperate climes. Mother Nature will keep throwing up potential levellers but it seems that (so far) our scientific advancements have defied her. I don't think that anyone believes that the 'realities of yesteryear' are appropriate but that's a very broad scope. Quote

An even bigger incentive to restore a strong and resourceful military. Vote Nige. I think he is very likely correct. The "far left" will no doubt be out in droves. With their pink and blue hair, socialist worker banners, highly educated gingers with no life experience, dirty antifa types looking for a ruck, and Zack Polanski's crew. There will also be a requirement for strong leadership to prevent some folk from deciding to act against immigrants in a "vigilante" type way. The Islamists themselves may represent the most dangerous threat. Prepare the military.. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted May 2 Posted May 2 I will also add that this is part of the reason that nothing has been done- politicians are shit scared of tackling it for fear of civil unrest. However, we're already there, so whenever it gets dealt with, the government of the day is going to have major problems. That therefore highlights the absolute urgency of the situation: lance the boiler before it gets even bigger and erupts on its own. Quote

No wonder you're so fearful if you think that's a widely held belief. Quote

I would suggest that the scourge of unlimited multiculturalism and those in favour of it is evidence enough. Complacent attitudes lead to downfalls. Quote
Bertie Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Normally got zero time for Campbell, but tbf he has got a point on this one. Mind you, Bolty has banged on for years how biased the Beeb is - perhaps he was right. Farage sympathising righties after all? Quote
Spider Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Reform have actually announced a policy. No details on how they enforce it. Quote
Sweep Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I'd like to see how they've costed that, because it sounds expensive, and I presume it'll take a while to build these detention centres, unless they're going to magically appear overnight Quote
