Absolutely nothing to do with Pandemics and Wars. We'll get past it, because we have to. It's OK, to admit its not all been 100% brilliant and trade has become much easier since we left you know. I think you need a revisit mate. The vast majority of those on the successful side said on a regular basis that there would be short term pain for long term gain. You can argue about definitions of 'short' and 'long' if you like but your 'OK to admit' line is perfunctory. It was being 'admitted' well before the referendum. If you buy a tin of lychees and open it to find pineapples you'd do something about it. Fuck them off or leave them to it and join Reform a.s.a.p. Think you are correct on Costa Rica you’ll still get the Calais4care refugee charity spending gullible donators money on fighting it through the courts…. Government should take away their charitable status.

Ani
You wonder why they did not start with Costa Rico, almost as though they have tried to rush it through, spunked loads of money because they are making it up as they go along. All the hours trying to justify Rwanda rather than the policy itself.
Site Supporter MickyD Posted April 16 Site Supporter Share Posted April 16 Rather than Rwanda, from where any returnees can set off for UK again, it would be much more likely to deter illegal immigrants if they’d used Greenland as their final destination. I’m quite sure, when we started shipping folk we didn’t want here, over to Australia that nobody went over first to make sure they’d be comfortable in their new surroundings. He wasn't very complimentary about Costa Rica (or Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala or El Salvador for that matter). Claimed he was a refugee on the way to Centrelink (DSS equivalent down here). Correct. Absolutely fuck all to do with what is being discussed. Purely a geographical coincidence.
