If it's any comfort, I'm playing scrabble with the missus, although its accompanied by wine and The Smiths' Stangeways on vinyl 👌

Sounds like an evening in my house. I always get battered at Scrabble though

Leave a review on filums thread for me please 👍🏼

Can not find filum thread.

nothing brilliant. But quite entertaining do not have to be into cars.

7/10.

Fuck me - I abstained.

Didn't know enough to make an educated choice.

But now it looks like a clusterfuck then 'the usual suspects' should just leave it.

Far more effective when this thread descends into being a twenty post leaver circle jerk/lemon party.

Heads against brick wall - give 'em their echo chamber and leave them in peace.

I implore you - much more fun just lurking on these threads.

Let's get back to what made this forum great - Wanderers, humour, nostalgia and tits.

Fuck off these mumsnet bickering shite threads.

Thats an incredible achievement.  Bravo.

Well, that's only because the middle kid is so easy going and couldn't be arse arguing with the eldest when it was clear she was nicking 500's from the bank.

I'm calling this Xmas prep. Bored games, not my favourite thing!

Quite like Trivial Pursuit though.

Ever tried Rummikub? A personal favourite of mine.

Just as a matter of interest, did you actually abstain or not bother voting?

Exactly like that. Only a maximum of 4 at a time though. I suppose you can always double up or tag team.

Not with the kids, gents.

Banannagrams- I quite like that. Like a quicker game of scrabble. Surprising considering I'm dyslexic.

Take a look at rummikub if you like scrabble. It's not your typical board game. Good for the kids too... Gets them thinking.

@Sweep

I've gone up in the world - no more brasso, meths and effervescent liver salts these days.

Nah - Guinness Original and Hobgoblin only.

And Monopoly, was prematurely shacked up with a girl (massive dd I bet) at 20 - we were skint a lot...

I came out of a five year 'retirement' and introduced her to the joy of the five finger discount (from major stores only).

Acquired a Monopoly set as she loved it - I didn't, so would only play her if I could play in the manner of a Nazi. Which I did. 'Heil Hitler' at a dice throw, 'Seig Heils' on each move of my boot etc.

Seemed funny at the time. We made our own entertainment.

I'd play normally after it wore thin.

I see Diane Abbott put her foot in it again yesterday, probably follow the route of Corbyn now and get suspended.

Poor woman, actually think she needs help.

I've thought for a while that she isn't well. I doubt she's as stupid/thick as she's appeared in recent years, something is definitely awry
