dunno about the heathcote thing , but he'll pay up the others eventually , like he usually does..

its been happening for months and months now..

i note the heathcote figure changes a lot too (i think i read it as 250k , one time. )

seems to me like club with limited funds doing its best to not default on what it owes.

some folk want us bankrupt .

he might be a big conman , but it seems a funny way to go about it..

Club deduct from salaries and handover for the whole squad a bit like employees tax and ni.

Is that right? It's how union dues are paid in most businesses but I thought the PFA subs weren't paid by the players but we're made directly from TV funds.  That seemed to be the case when Sky increased their rights payment a few years ago but refused to increase the PFA payment and Gordon Taylor threatened strike action.

No, pretty sure that isn’t the case

PFA subs are only about £95/year (or similar). Like I said; pennies

So the pie-eaters have completed their deal. Only took about a year. Seems to be to to a Hong Kong outfit with a hotel and casino in the Philippines. Lets hope Ken can pull off a deal a bit quicker than that and that new owners of BWFC have deeper pockets than IEC appear to have.

The ST have been more than just coy, they've said fuck all of any relevance for a very very long time (if ever).

Who even are they now? Indeed, does anyone even care? The last AGM looked like 100 people max having pie and peas

Offer free pie and pies at a meeting of the Ronnie Codd Appreciation Society and you'd get 100 or so turning  up.

Pardon my scepticism but I don't think that Gordon (Chunky) Taylor became the wealthiest union leader in the world on subs of 95 quid a year.

No, you are correct.

But, I know the facts!

TV money gives them most of their income, so they are able to maintain low player subscriptions.

At the risk of having the thought police after me, the PFA (according to its last Annual Return) had 4,970 members who contributed a total of 547,435 pounds. (Apparently the PFA didn't have addresses for 2,290 of them). TV fees brought in nearly 29 million pounds.

Seconded never heard him called chunky he even had a song as well

'Tiger Tiger Taylor'

Used to see him in the Crom with Dave Lenard on a Saturday neet.

Tiger was an unimaginative copycat name picked up by some based on Frankie Taylor but he wasn't much of a tiger as a footballer so it didn't fit unless used in the satirical sense. The descriptive nickname was always preferable.
