I don't think anyone means "Ken's not bothered". I think more that he's unlikely to incur extra cost at this stage because most assume he expected an investor or buyer to be seriously down  the line by now. Ken never had a long game for running us - he admitted that and cost reductions presumably have gone about as far as they can. We'll make a loss covered by player sales and that will be the way now until something drastic changes. Given we're already likely to lose 3M (and will need sales to cover it) sacking a management team and replacing them only adds to that impending problem. With no guarantees either. I think IF a takeover looked likely Ken might bite the bullet to try and haul us over the line and preserve the value of his asset. But as it seems all quiet on that front.....he's unlikely to want to spend his own money at this stage.

Don't disagree with any of that but that's been the game plan from day 1 so I feel little has changed.

I was interested to see if I'd missed ought

He's busy buying up beans etc from Tesco. Once he's fucked off heathcote and food prices have rocketed we'll all be praising his foresight.

nice one

No idea what the efl are going to do about us having no fucking money and a shite manager?

Its twats like that that make me hate sports. The bizzare idea that your team is entitled to win everything and the club should have all the money in the world to do just that.

When are people going to realise that we bring cock all in and spend more than we bring in. So any money like the madine money has to go on running the club. We are fucked this year as no saleable assets in Jan are going to leave a massive hole in the budget. Hopefully Ken has kept aside some of the madine money to cover it.

Catch 22 though isn't it because we are playing atrociously we won't bring anymore in

BWFCST need to get a grip on their own comms before they start having a jib at others.

True and that is a decision for Ken to make. And one I don't envy him having to make.

Only he and a select few actually know what the finances look like and what it will cost to make a change of management. If the club is still walking a financial tight rope then his reticence is understandable.

For all the shouts of "what about the madine money" I'm not convinced that they hasn't had to go on keeping the club ticking over.

Surely only an absolute toolbag wouldn't realise the vast bulk of the Madine money will have been used on just keeping the gates from being locked?

Has anyone actually said 'where's the madine money?' Not sure I've seen that once

On here no but I've seen it plenty of times on faceache and Instagram

He must be thinking about doing a runner ......we will certainly find out before January!

I can only assume Ken has used it for spray tans, city breaks and the odd pair of loafers..... or he's pissed it up the wall on the club's behalf.

Tbh I don't care where it's gone, I'm more interested about the performances on the pitch and how shockingly double shit bollox we are, the only decision I want sweaty Ken to make is based on that basis.

If the business is losing 3M a year - surely you don't want Ken to take on more debt if it cannot be financed?

The financial situation clearly isn't one that allows for lots of movement here. Sacking a management team and replacing them for a business losing money - and with Ken unwilling to pay for it himself - might not be the answer if we end up in administration.

How much would we get for ameobi?

Can't help feeling one or two will have to go, as in past seasons.

Perhaps use some of that to cover PP going.

We've got to pay for Doidge at some point too

Or see if we can send him back and call it quits

Reckon you get jack for him tbh or very little

one trick pony who blows his arse off

comes to the party now and again

Could get a few bob for the keeper. Maybe the Polak if he shapes himself.

Not much value elsewhere. Same for the rest of the teams around us.

The jam roll looked quality when he first came, but he's having regular 'mares now though.

Ah I'm a subscriber to neither.

I don't know why I read the comments as they're usually full of numpties.

He’s fitting in with the rest of the team

weve seen what he can do, he’s head and shoulders above the rest

If he doesn't get sacked I'll take it simply as a case we can't afford to rather than Parky pleading to Ken he can turn it around and then putting trust in him. The evidence at the moment points to the contrary about turning things around though

We've had a run of games against teams where we stand a good chance of winning and cocked it up. Our last two being perfect examples. We got lucky last season with there being Sunderland and Barnsley being shite. This season especially with the teams that came up, and to extent came down, we don't have that luxury

Iles said he hopes to have an interview with KA by the end of the week.

Agree entirely. There's a reason he didn't make it with Newcastle.

He's absolutely fucking ruined them there.
