Zico Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Rodwell for one... Regrets leaving the bin dippers now Probably not He picked a PL winners medal along the way If he sees out his sunderland contract it will have made him around 20 million Quote
Whites man Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 (edited) I’d imagine they will turn over about £60m next season They are still getting full parachute payments for a start Even if they don’t manage to shift anyone on the £20m left over is head and shoulders above everyone else Absolute bankers Sunderland unless they hire Owen Coyle The last estimate for their wage bill I can see is £55m and I cannot see many takers for their players. Not out of the woods yet. Edited May 21, 2018 by Whites man Quote
RoadRunnerFan Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Maybe he did. Only a tiny number of people would know that for fact though. It certainly wouldn’t fit with ED refusing to pay for anything prior to selling. And he did refuse. As I say if you’re certain you’re certain. Why would it not fit? Stopping putting cash in brought about the ownership change. Helping out occasionally is different to having your name above the door. Quote

gonzo Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Who are those shorthand and firth folk on twitter? Have they ever said anything positive? Morizio Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 I don’t know how to do links but illes has tweeted about transfers and they are their sniping about fuck all. Are they on here? The thing is, there’s loads to do in this world so if you’re not enjoying something, which is voluntary, why bother with it? Quote
Dr Faustus Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Probably not He picked a PL winners medal along the way If he sees out his sunderland contract it will have made him around 20 million He's been quoted on it, to paraphrase 'i recommend kids stay with clubs like the bin dippers, cos even though now I'm a gazillionaire I hardly played for city and Southgate has lost my number... Anyway I can proper re-enact the old milk adverts now' Quote

I don't blame him collecting 70k a week Nothing wrong in wanting to leave Sunderland as most do leave sinking ships. What I don't get is the being unavailable for selection part. 70k or not you should be able to be called upon until you've gone bar injuries or bans etc? Surely other clubs now look on and think 'no thanks' Quote
jimmyjoojar Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Surely other clubs now look on and think 'no thanks' I think they will, but if there is someone out there capable of getting him on the right track and more importantly FIT then there could still be a very good player there. However the rot may well have set psychological and in his late 20's and a multi-millionaire he might be not arsed about playing football again. Quote
Carlos Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Who are those shorthand and firth folk on twitter? Have they ever said anything positive? Firth... Writer for LoV. Say no more. Part of Bowers’ gang. Shorthand, put loads of stupid motions into the ST with his mate Nightingale. The later is now on the ST board. Again, say no more! Quote

Kane57 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Who are those shorthand and firth folk on twitter? Have they ever said anything positive? No idea about shorthand but Ian Firth is a good bloke and proper Wanderers fan. I expect he won't pass the WW test but I guess that's probably the idea. Quote

RUREADY2ROLL Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 (edited) I'd guess that we'll be closer to clearing £250K than £5M from them gigs Unless Little Mix are getting a few rooms and giving punters a shag for £50 (£35 for Season Ticket holders) Double that for unprotected sex apparently Edited May 22, 2018 by RUREADY2ROLL Quote
