  • To say this game has given my 7 year old the bug would be an understatement.   He’d never shown anything more than a passing interest in football before. Rarely played it at school and Inhoneslty th

Yep. In fairness the lass who I thought was a Man Utd fan did an amazing video. Perhaps the production skills not quite as good but she captures the passion and emotion brilliantly.

Clearly cares too after her Burton reaction.

Sorry for doubting you stuntpegg!

Her videos are good. But i prefer thogdens when we score a big goal.

Probably because he jumps around more! And i properly love thogdad

That is absolutely brilliant!!!!!

Class that!

Thogdad is ace. Sinks to his knees then gets up flipping Forest the finger

What a weekend, the whites are staying up. The best game I've ever seen at the reebok /macron. Still can't believe it.

Incredible weekend for Wanderers everywhere.

I was impressed with Aaron's post match interview and his attitude and view.

Epitomises the saying "If you can't be a poet, be the poem".

thank christ carlsberg are only do the one bank holiday in May

Wilbrahams post match interview is the best ive ever seen

Fuck me the guy is ripped up, wouldn’t mind having that physique at 38

Just watched the championship and also the soccer Saturday thread and I am in tears.

As someone said today, that was our aguero moment, you don't often get that as a football fan..........

Really happy for the great people on here

That was a hard season, after many hard years

The whole thing just gets better and better

Couldn't sleep Saturday night.

Crashed out Sunday evening - fortunately I had set the alarm to wake me in time for the Ch5 coverage.

Wheater on Instagram, not on it but got the Mrs to show me it.

If you can see it, believe in football not being all yoga and broccoli. Two lads ont piss!

In crofters tonight ha ha

Well having been a regular since 1963 I have to say that yesterday was only topped by the Reading final (some went home early that day as well)The passion never fades its days like yesterday that we remember forever & its something the plastic contingent never get.

Bank holiday Monday, sun is shining and my smile muscles are acheing, my head is acheing also! Grinning like an imbecile, involuntary bouts of chuckling keep breaking out.

My first game was back in 1964 stood on th’embankment with my owd fella, (God bless him) and our Vinny. We beat Swansea Town, yes Town. They played in bright orange and we beat em 2-0 thanks to a Freddie Hill free kick and another goal from someone else. Was a Wanderer before then but no one would take me to the games, I was hooked from that night. Seen all the highs and lows since then, Burton last week was a real low, weak as piss performance from most players, some tremendous high’s, Wrexham away is right up there for me, was with our Vinny that day too. Yesterday was beyond words, the twists, the turns, the emotions. All the planets aligned, that just does not happen for us Bowtoners!

Tremendous humour and passion on here, best wishes to each and everyone of you. Relax and enjoy your summers, see you all next season. COYFWM!!

By the way, I also thought the Forest fans were a bunch of classless wankers too. Had things turned out differently I could have been drinking my coffee in the cells this morning.... not good for a chap of my vintage.

You never lose it M. KTF. See you soon.

Back to work.

To talk about ‘The miracle at the Macron’ all day.

Even a Blackburn fan has shaken my hand this morning !!

The Brighton lad's video is excellent -captured the mood superbly.

Very impressed with Wilbraham interview and his goal. The more I watch it the more his instinctive movement impreeses.

He seems a sound bloke who would be good helping to keep youngsters grounded.

Maybe look to utilise his experience in some sort of coaching capacity when he's finished.

Aye, it was a fantastic run for the goal. Thank fuck he stopped being 50p head too.

kin el I was more nervous watching that just now than I was at the time . . .

I honestly thought Burton had scored at the end not Preston watching that.

well, nearly 48 hours after the event and Adrenalin is still running through me. randomly looked at my watch yesterday and it was ten past two and i just thought "fuck me this time yesterday i was going absolutely bananas" and the feeling i got again was unbelievable!

ive become more accepting of our results over the last few years, if we won great, lost? not the end of the world. Even previous relegation's and last years promotion, i was quite level headed. The minute i walked in the ground on Sunday and my arse went. never been that nervous at a football match for as long as i can remember

the kind of game you see on television but are never involved in. the scenes in and around me when the first but more so the 3rd went in will live with me forever.

our fans / ground has come in for some criticism since our move for lack of atmosphere. Well, sunday made up for all that. its what we follow football for. pandemonium
