The plastic fans will never experience this sort of feeling. I have a mate who went to City to see them get the trophy today  - think about the 3rd match he has been to. In his mind he is a 'dyed in the wool' supporter.

From the depths of despair at 2-1 down to that fantastic header was a real roller coaster that you HAVE to be a real supporter to experience.
Had the same seats at the Reebok since it opened, and jumping up hugging the guys next to us, all with tears in our eyes, who have also been there from the opening was a great feeling.
 

I know it's only 22 men chasing a bag of wind - but being there in the company of like-minded people who have followed the Whites through thick and thin, makes it all worth while.

Yep same for me, I ran right over to the forest fans after the match and gave them dogs abuse because of that, even the disabled forest fans were giving it me back, it felt great, let some steam off, my lads never seen me like that was pissing his sides. Yeah - can't remember us acting that way when Birmingham got their result at our place. I'm sure it happened in pockets but not en masse like yesterday. Shithouses.

Started watching bolton when I was 5 in 2002.

Last year was by far my best ever experience.

 

Just 12 months later, and that already topped yesterday.

Seeing random Bolton fans in the town at 3am, and singing was class.

God my throat hurts, but it was all worth it.

 

A lot needs to change at this club to make it a solid championship team, may be someone new might be needed to take us forward.

But I think Parky deserves at least another shot, if we start as badly, then we should change it.

 

Now let’s get some investment into this team, which hasn’t had any since 2015!

Bank holiday Monday, sun is shining and my smile muscles are acheing, my head is acheing also! Grinning like an imbecile, involuntary bouts of chuckling keep breaking out.

My first game was back in 1964 stood on th’embankment with my owd fella, (God bless him) and our Vinny. We beat Swansea Town, yes Town. They played in bright orange and we beat em 2-0 thanks to a Freddie Hill free kick and another goal from someone else. Was a Wanderer before then but no one would take me to the games, I was hooked from that night. Seen all the highs and lows since then, Burton last week was a real low, weak as piss performance from most players, some tremendous high’s, Wrexham away is right up there for me, was with our Vinny that day too. Yesterday was beyond words, the twists, the turns, the emotions. All the planets aligned, that just does not happen for us Bowtoners!

Few I chatted with before the game were decent. But after there were some right Forest idiots hanging about. Singing Accrington Stanley they’re coming for you as much as they did is a sign of numbness.

 

I guess it was their cup final. A chance to actually do something given their club is the very definition of mid table mediocrity.
