No problems indicated on National Rail app so far. Bus to Manchester in 40 minutes so I’d best get my skates on. I’m sure it’ll be a good day out, but I’m very much questioning my sanity at the moment, especially as the weather is sounding shite outside.

Just got here and sat in the former cargo hold of a176 feet long barge on the river called Charters... That's the bar not the barge.

The barge was called Leendert-R and was built in 1907. It worked the rivers and canals of Holland, Belgium and Germany until 1990.
