In fairness there is a council ward called Atherleigh. Covers the non-Westleigh side of Kirkhall Lane and up Leigh Road as far as Howe Bridge. 

The ones who do my nut in are those who go to the Maccies drive thru, sit on Maccies car park eating it in the car and then just chuck the rubbish out of the window. 

Pedestrian cut through from Parsonage retail park to Wigan Road is always a swarm of Maccies, Subway and KFC rubbish.

Its beginning to turn a bit brexit this now. Last week shagger Ferguson (iirc) was on saying evidence that teenagers are likely superspreaders.
