DomRepWanderer Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 (edited) Marc Iles Full time and Wanderers exit the FA Cup at the first round stage for the second successive season. Some of that goalkeeping/defending has to be seen to be believed. #bwfc Edited November 7, 2020 by DomRepWanderer Quote
superkev Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 I’ve seen enough recently in some of the goals we’ve scored that we can play some good stuff, but the goals we are conceding are really really poor. We can’t keep needing to score 2-3 a game to be in with a shout. Crellin out for his and our sanity Quote

I've played in front of better keepers at Sunday League, I went in goal every other game during a vets season, 46 years old, 5ft 7" and I was still better than that usual twat Crellin. Never dropped a clanger, blamed it all on the centre backs 😅 5ft 7”?😀 Quote

Good Knee Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 If their is a keeper somewhere in this lad he will have to have some balls to come back from this experience he needs shielding for the good of everyone. Quote

With legendary 20/20 hindsight it would have been better to keep one of our established bigger keepers on a retainer just in case the waiflike BC turned out not to be up to it. FV must have been able to see Billys shortcomings weeks ago. There must be a reason we still only have two keepers and Gilks, and never a spare on the bench. surely you dont have to have hindsight to have a back up to a plan that involved pitching a young inexperienced 3rd choice keeper in at the deep end? Alexander is barely out of school and has played one league game and when was last time Gilks actually played? He was only registered for emergencies as hes supposed to be GK coach first and foremost? Had disaster written all over it from the off. Thats why im so annoyed. And the no sub goalie just makes us look even more pub league Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Has S U got Crellin's brother in goal Quote

desperado Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Crellin has to be be replaced, confidence has gone, worrying thing is who’s there to replace him? Keeper situation a priority. Quite a few positives in the performance, Fonz, the back 3, the 3 who came on looked promising. Might see more of Miller and Isgrove now they’re in contention. Can’t understand why Tutte isn’t starting. With Doyle to come back too, it just might be a shoot of positivity to cling onto. Quote

Have you forgotten the last few years of financial turmoil? So you want us to pay up his contract and employ someone else? It's no wonder the club ended up in so much trouble. Give the fella a chance ffs, at least a season. And as i have said that’s why we are stuck with him, doesn’t make it right though Quote
Blondi Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Crellin, Gordon, Baptiste, White, Crawford, Comley, can all fook off! Quote

desperado Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 I think it’s a lazy opinion to say Baptiste had a bad game today. Today he was no worse/better than the other CBs. In fact if anything the back 3 did ok today, the goals weren’t directly related to their mistakes. I remember the odd mistake with Delaney out of position with the ball going over his head, Santos distribution putting us under pressure on a coupe of occasions. Baptiste and Santos influenced some positive attacking play in the oppositions half. Quote

We started of on a level playing field this season in league 2 New manager new squad . May be not promotion but not bottom 3 As for paying him up you don’t stick him on garden leave for the remainder of is contract he gets pissed off with it and you end up ripping the contract up at some point so he can go manage else we’re Quote

Lazy? 😂 aye alreet If you stopped doing the same thing as Baptiste (ball watching) and looked a little closer at them off the ball, you’d see the difference and how bad Baptiste was...chugging about, ignoring runners. Santos was miles better Quote
