Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 30, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted September 30, 2022 Expert giving military opinion about his use of nukes. Quite possible he reckons. I don't know why he believes that this annexation was necessary first, as no one acknowledges the legitimacy of it, as they don't with the war at all. Interesting to hear that military folk have been warning that they may target our enegy infrastructure- subsea pipelines across the Baltic, North Sea and English Channel. Apparently they have a number of little subs which they would use for sabotage missions. Maybe time for a military "no sail" zone in the baltic... BobyBrno
Just now, Spider said: He;'s laid down a considerable gauntlet here. Not good. He’s been challenging the west since 2014. It’s only since he invaded in Ukraine that the west woke up. The biggest gauntlet was laid down by the west with its sanctions and military aid to Ukraine. The Russian army is getting overrun in all directions. He cannot win in Ukraine without resorting to nuclear and even that may backfire. Either way, as you say, it’s not good. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 30, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted September 30, 2022 These little tactical jobs will surely be visible to spy satellites and even drones. Launch one, and presumably the vehicles risk being taken out relatively easily.

If they're launched from distance, yes they can be taken out - if they're launched from only 50km or 100km away, maybe not so easy You would hope that "The West" know where all his nukes are, and are keeping an eye on their movements, and if he starts to roll them towards the border, then they can be taken out nice an early, whilst they're still on the road

Site Supporter Winchester White Posted September 30, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted September 30, 2022 If Putin uses nukes then he will likely lose support of China and India.
