If I was a yank, that's it, it'd be Trump all day long after this

I see Farage is representing his constituents of Clacton in the good old US of A again.

One of the news channels went and interviewed the good people of Clacton a week or two ago, and asked them about Farage. They seemed surprised that he wasn't spending much time in the constituency, holding surgeries.......who'd have thought it (apparently he'd promised Clacton would be his #1 priority)

There is a far bigger priority as well you know. Quietly working in the background to build with the odd excursion to the world stage.

FOX (I know, I can't help it, it's great fun in a weird way) are going big on potential vote rigging at the minute, they've just had a full half hour on it, and how the current system is, and has always been, against the Republicans. Already they're worried that with over 80M votes already cast before today, that there is too much room for vote rigging.

I think what they're saying is that if Trump wins, then the system is OK, if he loses, the system is not OK.

Also, and I might have made this up, there was some redneck type woman on earlier who said that Harris wants to bring in something where new born babies can be aborted.....yes, aborted, after they're born. The person interviewing her decided not to pass comment or correct her. Madness

Its another one of those 'they're eating pets' bits of nonsense that floats about the alt right world and then willing idiots pass on as fact.

I see where you're coming from, buy his priority should be his constituents.

However, it is also the case that certain individuals simply don't like him, and will.do what they can to portray him in a bad light.

He was asked about this last night and said he spends loads of time in his constituency and reckoned he probably spent more time there than most mps do in theirs.

Where the reality is, who knows, but it is often the case that mps are accused of not spending enough time in their constituency. Equally some don't seem to be in the chamber very often. Can't win.

Tough gig I reckon being an mp, though it seems to help being a bit of a pugilist.

Like anything, ask enough people and you'll get mixed views, but if you only show the ones that suit a given agenda, then that's how folk see it.

Interesting that he also issued a bit of a warning to Trump, saying that if he lost he should accept the result (and go and play golf).

his 'warning' was nowt of the sort as it was preferanced by if Harris wins by 'if it was clear and decisive' playing into the narrative already being pushed out there that there has already been fraud. So if it's even close Farage can say Trump does have a right to call out the result. He's giving himself enough wiggle room to say he told him to go and concede if riots starting happening and the UK press turn on his support of a undemocractic leader but yet also allowing himself to still support Trump.

Its all about making plans for Nigel, as it always is and all has ever been.
