None of the cuntish types will try anything on when there's an even madder lad than they are in the White House. You don't think there have been dangerous times before now with China strutting around the South China sea flexing it's muscles, primitive savages in Iran acting the cunt and the North dog eaters regularly firing 'test' missiles over Japan? I reckon there's a far better bet for all of these stopping than there would have been under the sinister slag. Edited November 6, 2024 by bolty58 Quote

They are not all mad, a bit like over here the 'clever' one telling the 'thick' ones they are stupid is half the problem Remember the other side put up a man who could hardly speak and was clearly in decline and only swapped him out when he looked like getting beat. I am no Trump fan but blaming people who have voted him in without asking why ain't the answer This with bells on. Same over here when folk label reform voters or brexit voters as thickos, racists and gammons. We just don't we the wider picture in US and most can't see past Trumps huff and bluster soundbites. People vote for real life policies and things that they think will make their country and lives better. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 It's the historic shift away from a post WW2 western global consensus in which some parts of traditional industries are left behind and the world favours higher educated globalists. This is the kickback, as Bexit was. Calling people thick or daft isn't the way but we must understand both in Europe and the US why certain groups have been left behind in the narrative and how to include them but not shift the window to give credence to regressive views. People vote for real life policies and things that they think will make their country and lives better. Spot on. As much as I dislike Trump I think the blame for his success doesn’t lie with those who voted for him, rather the inability of the Democrats to put forward a better alternative (which let’s face it shouldn’t have been difficult). Same goes across many European countries atm where we seen populist/nationalist parties spouting hate and blame having election successes. Need to understand why people legitimately vote for such causes and then ensure the alternative of tolerance and compassion is better. Edited November 6, 2024 by Bertie Quote

Manchester_whites Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 I go and visit my friends in America all the time and what people over here don’t realise is that 95% of Americans don’t have a passport. They’re not bothered about the rest of the world. If someone like Trump says he’s going to reduce energy prices and create jobs, even the male African Americans will vote for him. Quote
