Something also about a hypothetical scenario where a single infected person would infect 50% of attendees at an indoor concert.

On the plus side, it really does seem to be pretty mild thus far.

Few more weeks will build a full picture but hopefully we can relax after january

Trouble is, with such projected numbers, there could still be a load of folk in hospital. Maybe not mega bad, but still on oxygen and taking up a bed.

I wouldn’t be giving them a bed.

Id send them home with a picture of Bill Gates inserting a 5G tower up his flue, and some instructions about how to wank the virus out of your system.

Im really just hopeful that it’s properly mild.

I've not got any fever, actually felt cold earlier, which isn't like me.

Just a bastard warch, but like a migraine.

Interestingly, according the the nhs app, my passport runs out on the 12th. Not been updated since the jab. Don't know how long it will take to get updated,  but there could be a number of angry footy fans if this is commonplace.

Though that shouldn't be a reason for those unvacced not to bother. The other variants will still he lingering in the background. 

I also reckon we're going to see a tweaked vaccine as reports now saying both are having much reduced effect on omicron after a while, but booster is now giving a strong effect.

Checked my NHS app. Says my pass expires 9th January. 

Wondered what the fuck was going on but it extends for 30 days after each log in up to 180 days.

I know I've been pretty vocal about folk getting the jab of late, but with the way its flying round here at the moment it does beg the question why are we all bothering if its just wazzing about anyway.

Does it actually slow the spread or just stop people getting more ill?

I would think the jab helps keep the symptoms mild.

Being reasonable, it’s only fair we see how it goes for a few weeks. If it turns out that it has become no worse than a cold, we lift everything and let it do the rounds.

People are free to stay gone and wear masks if they do choose

But no more mandatory isolation if it’s mild. It’s nonsense.

I know a few who've been double jabbed our age who have had it recently and felt it worse than me. 

A couple of mates have it now and are fuming as they should be imbibing a mountain of class As at the warehouse project tonight for the chemical brothers but have had to can it!

The other way for me. Possible slight headache morning after with az. So slight, could just have been a bit thirsty in the morning.

We’re all getting it in the next few weeks, it’s probably fair to say.

The amount of folk I know who are mildly ill is huge. This variant is more abundant than nitrogen.
