I'm the only one in a house of 4 who hasn't had it -unless I have at some point but been asymptomatic.

From the people I know it definitely seems that there are now more who have had it than haven't, which wasn't the case up to a month or so ago.

Most either hadn't had the booster and/or their symptoms were pretty mild, "like a bad cold".

Dangle your maggot elsewhere :)

Yeh, my Mrs was bad in Jan 2020 and she’s convinced it was Covid - before it all hit the fan, she also has it right now.

What i do find a disgrace is the fact that she’s frontline NHS and comes into close contact with dozens of folk on a daily basis, yet she won’t get paid one fucking penny for being off sick with Covid this week.

Love the NHS Boris? Yeh right - Cunt.

Are you saying that nurses don't get any sick pay?

I've just had the quickest of ganders, and the rcn web site seems to indicate that conditions depend upon the contract. Seems to be something around "Agenda for change" contracts etc.

Maybe older contracts are different, I've no idea.

That's being looked into now. Not ruled out and may come in. Other nations do.

Hope so, my middle kid is ok but she is super tired with a cough. Sleeping a lot and with no energy at all and she's not even a teenager yet.

That's what she's telling you! 😉

Ouch!

Seriously though, is it common practice for GPs to have staff with no sick pay on their contract?

Seems out of order that.

Burnden Bogs- has she delved into it, or approached the union or nursing bodies for advice?

She will qualify for ssp- whether £95 is fair is a different question of course, but it's obviously better than nowt.

Isn’t ssp only payable after 2 weeks absence? I dunno, i’ve never claimed it in my life personally.

Not had it as yet, but I do drive through LH on my way to work and also get my dinner there sometimes so possibly picked up some of the good air.

im actually one of those who’s convinced I had it Dec 19 before anyone really knew or tested for it but not had anything official as yet and I’m the same done everything allowed and worked all through

I think I may be in the same boat, I went to Prague in the Jan and Cologne in Feb before we locked down around march time, do remember being ill shortly after both trips,  missus also who's still not had it.

Who knows.

Once a spill, always a spill.

That's why you're all so fucking argumentative 😉
