Cheese Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 (edited) Bubba Ho-Tep. I highly recommend you watch it at least once. It's fucking mental. Quote Bubba Ho-Tep is a 2002 American comedy horror film written, co-produced and directed by Don Coscarelli. It stars Bruce Campbell as Elvis Presley—now a resident in a nursing home. The film also stars Ossie Davis as Jack, a black man who claims to be John F. Kennedy, explaining that he was patched up after the assassination, dyed black, and abandoned. I never realised they had proper dialogue and were just trying to make it sound Swedish by running it backwards 🤣 That is brilliant it must have taken absolutely ages that 🤣 Quote

Rudy Posted September 1, 2021 Author Posted September 1, 2021 The Rocky Films 1-4 are brilliant. Don’t get the hate, probably brings back painful memories for all these nerds who got beat up everyday for wearing hi-tecs and carrying a briefcase at school and couldn’t knock out a wank never mind someone else. Queers. Quote
Casino Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 That was on in the early hours on some backwater channel couple of weeks back Quote
ErnestTurnip Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Has anyone admitted to Crocodile Dundee being their go to shit film yet ? Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Queers? I have actually used "And you better take that bad look off your face before I knock it off" in real life. You (Spider) probably likes Dirty Dancing, and weep at the end of Ghost. You've watched Titanic 34 times. And your current favourite is The Greatest Showman with Hugh Jackmon. Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 And 'The River Wild'? And that one about ghosts..? Well the ghost of a murdered girl he nonced on. And 'Murder in the First' as an inmate of Alcatraz, done for noncing. And 'Hollowman' were he was an invisible nonce. And Flatliners - where he killed folk then molested them, a necro-nonce. Quote

Last time i watched it, i didn’t think it had aged that well, but when i first saw it back in 1981 or whatever, i thought it was just absolute pure genius, so i watched it another 3 or 4 times in quick succession and each time i spotted stuff that i hadn’t even noticed before. Around the same time (or shortly after) i used to watch a TV series called Police Squad which was also piss funny and in a similar vein to Airplane, it possibly had the same writers.
