He was also in Hill Street Blues as the least convincing gang leader ever. It's a fucker when someone pegs it and there's unresolved issues - I'd love to ask my dad "why did you smash a venthole in the wastepipe?" or my mum "Did I really come in drunk as a teenager, skin up in front of you, then you had your first tokes on a spliff ever in your mid-fifties?" (I'm pretty sure that actually happened ^ - some time later when my mam died I wanted to source some E's to 'cheer up' my dad, aged 68.
