Agreed. Whilst I've heard of one direction, I didn't know who this lad was. Today's youth have a lot to deal with at the best of times but thrust into the spotlight as a teenager and getting lots of attention and scrutiny must take some handling. RIP

Suggestions his girlfriend left the hotel and flew home a couple of days before.

He's also had treatment for problems/addiction.

Makes you wonder how these guys are managed: you'd think that before they become famous by virtue of these talent shows, they sign an agreement that ensures some of their money is "locked away" for want of a better description, for later in life, if/when fame and its trappings have declined.
