Mosaic leadership And yet, the Iranians fight on. How? Because they have spent twenty years preparing for this moment. Their strategy is known as Decentralised Mosaic Defence (DMD), built around a single brutal principle: that the ‘body’ keeps fighting even if the ‘head’ is cut off – which is exactly what the Americans did when they killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on the first day of the war. Under DMD, authority is deliberately scattered across dozens of semi-independent nodes, each with its own intelligence, weapons and command structure. Units operate on standing orders; they do not wait for instructions from above.2 likes

Years ago when the club asked ( through the ST maybe) what we wanted we said we wanted a Fan Zone with bars and eateries and somewhere to watch the early match and they did it so now I feel obliged to use it. I call every match and just have one even if I don’t fancy one. Match day ritual or what?1 like

Its not. It is still valid. Look at most Western democracies - they dont have a chamber where once a week any elected representative can directly question the head of an elected state. It's a very, very important part of our government and needs to stay.1 like

They're £3.50 now. I always get one out of habit, but I rarely read it. My lad likes looking at the opposition squad list in case anyone's got a funny name. They just end up in a big pile and I transfer them to a box in the attic at the end of the season. Pointless waste of money really, but another matchday ritual I can't let go.1 like

I used to buy them around 94 and the centre page was a player 'poster'. Went to uni and quite a few of them made it onto my wall Shagging a woman in a single bed whilst Jamie Pollock was looking on isn't the most endearing of memories from that time1 like

FIFA have announced new measures for women’s football, mandating that teams must have at least one woman in a head coach or assistant coach role. The new regulations were approved this week by the FIFA Council, aiming to improve the representation of women in coaching roles in the long-term. From this year onwards, any team participating in FIFA women’s competitions must ensure that their head coach and/or at least one of the assistant coaches is female.1 like

Plus in his first time he had some people around him who would put the brakes on many of his wackiest and maniacal ideas. Unfortunately this time around he has surrounded himself with spineless incompetent sycophants1 like

Dementia Donnie says Iran have given him “a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money” and that they “want a deal so badly”. Iran says “the US is negotiating with itself”. Who do we believe? Sad to say I’ve got greater trust in what the Iranians say at this point. Who’d have thought it.1 like

Yeah impossible as a block. I do think this Plymouth game is must not lose though or we'll be dragged right into the mix with no form or confidence, and would be likely to drop out of the play offs completely given that run.1 like

I must admit it I don’t go trolling on other fans forums, so we might all be the same. But the level of BWFC folk who think they know best and then flip opinion from game to game, is quite frankly fucking bonkers.1 like

I’m torn on this. I agree his passing, crossing, shooting and general decision making has been shocking. However, he does seem to put the wind up opposition defenders, get in the right areas and create time and space. This is a big half the of the battle, and it’s possible that, tomorrow, three or fours crosses/shots end up in the net. if we’re replacing him, whatever with, it must deliver. While he’s creating as many as many opportunities as he is, there’s always a chance it will click.1 like

It's that match v Darlington (5/11/86?). What it would have looked like if everyone who claims to have been there, really was.1 like

Not in the know one iota, but two keepers wanted away. Jones knew he was going but to be fair he tried every game he played he was not the same player pre injury Santos wanted off, Murphy,Matete would have known they would be returning to their parent clubs....Collins and Thomason would have been informed that the club was open to offers as we was for Gomes,Schon, Randall, Lolos and Mcatee.......Adoboyejo, Cogley, Forrester got shipped out for nominal fees rather than be released this Summer. Out of nearly 30 players he inherited only Sheehan and Conway have had new contracts since he came in1 like

No he has been against it from day one.....On the outside it seems he inherited a top league one squad but half the squad wanted out. The last month we finished the season with four 17 year olds in the team because of injuries, players not available because they were protecting themselves for moves away etc. In the Summer the club re-invested in the off field management and SS/Harkin brought more money in than they shelled out. We then started the season with a mish mash of SS and Evatt players and injuries to SS main investments ie Dalby,Erhahon and Taylor. We then spluttered to Christmas again getting rid of four more Evatt signings. The players he brought in all had issues at their parent clubs some soon settled in some as yet have not worked. My only gripe with SS is that he does not seem to play to his strengths and is very predictable. We will get into the play-offs i have no doubt. Not sure we will win them but we will be having a mass clear out re-build what ever league we start next season.....Overall i think he has done ok, but i am only going to Judge him from next season.....Even though i think he can do better if he changes the system up and i do not mean tweaks in the last ten minutes when we are chasing the game.1 like
