Photographer taking pics

Absolutely unbelievable.

That's their job. What if the guy survived?  That picture may be used as a great news story.

If he doesn't the photo won't be used at all.

It's what photo-journalism is about.

It's a tricky one isn't it.

Understandable that folk may be upset, but like you say, he's doing a job.

Sure there were photos of players being treated when in distress.

Fingers crossed for the person involved in the emergency and well done to the club, medics, ref and everyone else involved for the quick response.

We don't know the full circumstances yet, and maybe we should wait and see what emerges.

Fair point , I could go into stats and dos and donts etc but we had to respond within 3 minutes of the call going out.

yeah , outraging public decency or some such , sure people have been pinched for leaking "distasteful" pics before .

Nothing illegal; we see folk regularly taking videos of violence etc and they go onto social media.

If this was a professional photographer doing his job, then it's understandable, if distasteful.

If any of the pictures are published, you might have a point.

I can understand your meaning and also like some have already said he's got a job to do. But for fuck sake a little bit of decency needs to be shown by the photographer it's not as though it was football violence or something similar

Thoughts with the fan and his loved ones hope he pulls through

What ? unless asked to document the event visually , why take pics ?

That's exactly what he'll have been doing. If the guy dies the photos will never see the light of day.  If he survived they might form part of the timerline of his successful treatment.

Ok , point taken , I just dont get why take the pics ? where are they going to be printed ?

After 15 mins of CPR the slow reaction of the 1st responders and the fact the ambulance didnt take off straight away , I fear the worst .

Fair enough , Im not a photojournalist , but the reaction of the crowd was negative about it .

Not a good sign if they are releasing a stadium full of fans and the congestion that would cause before the ambulance.

Poor bloke. Looked like an old fella from our seats but seen a pic on twitter and he’s no age.

It's his job; he may not have been comfortable doing it, but that is unfortunately part of the job.

It's what happens subsequently that's important now.

If it's the one I think it is, that isn't the person
