I actually heard someone say today that even a win wasn’t good enough to paper over the cracks.

Some of our supporters genuinely shouldn’t be allowed to mix with the public.

Most of what I heard when I walked out was “Fleetwood scored 4 today, how did we lose to that shit”

Get Wigan out of your heads you complete fucking fannies

Instead of bleating on here all the time, then why don’t you say something to them?

I did

Told him he was fucking mental. He just looked at me like I’d asked for directions to the moon in Japanese.

He then carried on moaning right up until we scored.

I honestly think some folk can only get bonk ons from moaning at the football. It’s weird as fuck when it simply isn’t warranted.

However, he's shown himself to be deserving of a place.

I'm not sure we'd have got him, if he believed he was only going to be second fiddle.

You do know hes our player

And he came from Port Vale

Its a difficult one that, nobody gets a guarantee of being 1st choice surely, especially when stepping upto a better team.  Would Ashworth have come here to sit on the bench 90% of the season, same with the WBA and Liverpool loanees, they were never going to be first choice unless they were outstanding like for eg Bradley.  In Forrester's case, he will have got a better contract here so he wasn't likely to turn it down.

Ashworth is on loan.

Forrester may well have a better contract, but he would have still played in the same league. I don't think it's all about the money- he will want to play.

Hopefully he will get some more time to keep his sharpness up (could have had a few minutes today)- I rate his defensive qualities and they may be required.

Fair enough.

You appear to run with the hares and hunt with the hounds though.

Anyway we beat a fucking awful team today and it’s time we showed some metal in a big game on Tuesday.

I just dont know what youre on about

Forrester has left PV for a 3 year deal on better money than he was on

Next season he will be behind GJ too

Fwiw, im getting a bit fed up watching Toal against shit teams, but even then Iredale would be my choice

I guess Forrester has only played about 6 games, hardly a must pick

Exactly the type of opposition, performance and result that was needed after the last 7 days

still not at our best but quicker with more intent all over the park. Confidence booster going in to Tues

whilst in my opinion it’s 2 out of 4 there’s no one to be scared off. Our results are always determined by us. On it and we’ll turn anyone over. Off it, even slightly and we can be beat by anyone

That plum that always phones up bolton fm post game phoned up as usual...

"Rubbish, we need to put these teams to the sword" ...."2-0 not good enough, should have been more".... "we need to shoot more "....yadda yadda.... presenter talked him down and through out some stats about 24 shots etc.....ended up ending his latest pot of waffle with "all that matters is 3 points today"

There is no hope man. These people just exist to be whiney cunts. Makes me think, do they actually enjoy the good days? The Wembley 4-0 ....did that guy enjoy it? Or sit at home moaning one of the kids changed the toaster setting from 3 to 4..?

Aye , he;s already said he doesnt go and hasnt gone for 20 years as its too expensive and listens to the matches on the radio, which is ok but radio doesnt give you the full picture.  He wants old school football and no tippy tappy bollocks just hoof it to Lofty to head it int net 17 times a game.

See that’s what is great about football, people have different opinions about the game.

i see it completely different to casino and others, we have the ability and talent to have walked this league , but have a stubborn  manager who won’t change and it has cost us to many lost points to win the league, don’t fancy us in the playoffs

Define walked the league?

You think our sqaud is so much better than Portsmouth and the others that we should be walking the league?

How many points clear should we be?

This season had the potential to be the 96-97 season when we went to games , especially in the last third, when it wasn’t are going to win, but by how many

A win is a win so upwards and onwards but today and all this week i have give a lot of thought to Evatt the way we play and next season.

If we stay down i think we will thrive next season and the squad and Evatts football will get better with this team.

Go up and in all seriousness Evatt wont change the style of Football he has ingrained into this squad and i see when we play teams like Burnley, Norwich and the like we will get beat week in week out....

I dont see us changing the squad much in the summer as most are tied to long term deals.

I will always want a win but if Evatt is to grow this team i think long term another season in league one wont hurt us

Most will go against this view it has just been a shit week

I like Forrester, what I've seen of him, but he was never first choice.  I'm surprised people are surprised he's a sub, he's no more a regular pick than Iredale or Bod.  They only play when the first picks aren't available.  Back 5 of Cogley, Jones, Santos, Toal, Williams has only been broken up once or twice all season by design.

He was showing he was plenty good enough in the spell before his injury, good enough to challenge Jones, who's had his share of off days, for a place in the back 3.

Not sure either Williams or JDC should be considered standing dishes, both are fine against piss weak, non threatening opponents like today's but both get found out by better sides who press us more and have physical wide players.

A back five of Jones, Forrester, Santos, Toal and Iredale would be more likely to stand up to the better, tougher sides

Bloody hell. Fair play like but I don't think our players are as good as you think they are.

If we don’t go up he should go IMO.

He’s been backed big-style.

Next year would be his 5th season at the club. Too long.

We will never have a better opportunity in this very weak league.

It won’t be like that next season.
