It’s like Groundhog Day - goalie stopping play after 20 mins of us failing to score despite our possession.

So will Wimbledon score first and have us chasing the game again and throwing on strikers?

Not a bad first half with neither team creating much in the way of clear cut chances - but we took ours and they missed an open goal.

We still look about as ruthless as a bush baby cuddling a kitten and hopefully SS will address that in the break because we definitely need another goal.

you forget about this one

So are you saying what I wrote wasn’t true when we nearly conceded at the beginning of the second half? Or are you just being a dick?

I’m another shit fan watching from Kos. Thought everything had fallen perfectly so that I wouldn’t miss a home game (apart from the Mickey Mouse cup). At a wedding on the 27th and we’re even away then so a bit gutted that this didn’t get moved.

Ah well. We’ll win 2-0. Go 1-0 up in the first half through Forino at a corner. Soak up a bit of pressure then get a second at the death. I’ll go with Durberry for that.

19624 announced. Reality about 14k.

Onwards and upwards.

I've seen worse predictions, even the crowd figures about right

They had one chance early first half when they hit the post, one early doors in the second and that was it all game

I do think we start cold and switch off......Think we have conceded a couple of times in the opening mins more than once this season, but over all defence was good today

30 odd post from you today and you have yet to be positive!

FFS - I’ve already proven that your statement is a lie by referring you to several positive statements I made when we did positive things.

So now you’re reduced to picking out some of the negative comments I made?

All that proves is that I can see the good AND the bad.

And that you’re desperate to whine and nitpick as well as being a liar.

Sort yourself out FFS.

Any idea why that Baltimore Ravens mascot was there?

I think it's just a PR thing

Their season's startin, and outside of the England match, they probably expected we'd have the highest attendance this weekend

Hoping we offer a new, lengthy contract to Conway very soon. Been quality. Also like his temperament, lost count how many times he was fouled today, just gets on with it.

It’s been clear since about minute 5 of the Stockport game that SS has put together an excellent League One team.

7 games in and I believe been the better team in all 7. Only one defeat. I’ve had us down as top 6 with a chance to push for top 2 since day one. I’ll stick my next out now and say this team will get promoted.

To anyone watching rationally and putting emotion to one side, the draws were never going to continue. As this team develops and gels, we’ll go on some long unbeaten and winning runs.

Any team at this level with Erhahon, Dalby, Forss, Cissoko et al on the bench, and no Dempsey, Toal or Sheehan, but still wins comfortably, is a top level league one outfit. Regardless of stupid sending offs.

Some were bemoaning our lack of a 20 goal striker on deadline day! Surely you can now see we already have him. Risk is he gets called back in January.

Last note. Conway. There’ll be bids for him in January! Top level player.

I'm not a scout. But if I were and sent to watch Conway, I see loads of potential to develop and he will play at champs level within 12 months.
