Mr Soft Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Just got back, as stated before West Ham are bobbins, thought Meggo made a decent chnage tacticly bringing Gardner on injected a bit more into the game for us, and Klasnic again continues to impress All good in the SJM household well done whites Thats where i think Gardner has most impact though. He has shown that this season and to the end of last season but you get our halfwits saying Gardner should be starting when clearly he isnt as affective.

Gardner is brilliant to have coming off the bench, agreed. However, to say he doesn't deserve a place in our starting line-up when all things are equal, is ludicrous. And to suggest these people are halfwits indicates you need to address this accusation yourself. Remember his goal after a couple of minutes at the start of Spurs game?? Didn't think so Anyway, tonight is a celebration and a platform to build on. Couldn't be happier
Horwich Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Its a fact that robert green is more prolific for the wanderers than elmander
Breightmet Boy Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Id just like to say that being the 'kiss of death' i am, i put ?20 on Megson to be the next premiership manager sacked and were unbeaten since i put it on ?20 well spent me thinks
M G WHITES Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Knight,Robinson and Lee outstanding,good night all
Burndens Bogs Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Just got back from the boozer after going to the game, i thoroughly enjoyed it - and apart from the 1st 15 mins of the second half, i thought we totally bossed the game. West Ham look in dire straits though, and apart from the one decent move that lead to their goal...........they looked proper proper shite.
DaveTheRave Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Great 3 points. Just what we needed. Thought Robinson, Cahill and Klasnic had good games and Lee was man of the match. Lets shit on the rugby boys on monday. Come on you WHITES!!!!
tyldesley_white Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Englands number 1 Who Billy the Fish

Werder barmen Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 fuckin beautiful much needed 3points back four were pretty solid..minus some shakey bits from Steinsson zat knight MOTM for me..great performance today seems to be there when there was ever danger
jolly-olly Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Robinson had another decent game. I thought Taylor was poor. Well played in general though. We have to cut out some of the suicide defending at times otherwise we will never keep a clean sheet. Good three points.
newquay central Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 A great three point s just hope we can push on from here ,starting with a win against the pie eaters . Think Klasnic has to be snapped up and quick the more he scores the more his fee is rising . Taylor looking tired and delivery is poor , i would take him out for a few week and sart same team but with Ricky in instead . Great three points lads
tylswhite Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Good performance and we always looked in control until they equalised but then Robert Green gave us a helping hand I thought everybody played pretty well but Taylor looks fooked, i would swap his and Gardner's roles for the next couple of games just to see if it bucks him up a bit. I would start Basham in place of Muamba(Suspended) against Wigan scum, if Mccann comes back in I wont be fucking happy. Well done whites

Tyldesley White Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Definitely Basham in for Muamba and Gardner in for Taylor against Wigan, Taylor needs a kick up the arse. Just been looking at the next few rounds of Premiership fixtures and what a crucial time it is for us, seems like all the top teams are playing teams in and around us, a couple of wins for us out of the next 3 and we would be comfortable going into Jan
Guest Frandsen08 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 taylor in for gardner against wiggin. apart from that i wouldnt change anything, played well last night we can play better though. robinson and cahill both had blinders, well done lads
Horwich Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I hope we play better in the first 60 minutes at Wigan, than we did last night. We were utter dogshit. Just a good job we were playing a very poor side who never fancy it at the Reebok. Though Kevin Davies was unlucky to get booked. It totally took the edge off his normal game once he had been carded. Cahill and Knight did well. Taylor looked off his game again

desperado Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I agree, Davies struggles when he gets an early yellow, it takes the edge off his game and as for Taylor I don't know what's wrong with him at the moment. Other than that I was happy with the nights efforts. Great performances in particular from Knight, Robinson, Chungy, Cahill and Klasnic. Gardner for Taylor and Basham for Muamba (if he is suspended?) for the pie eaters Monday. Why do some people boo, moan, get frustrated when we pass backwards or sideways? Can some folk not see that sometimes it helps us maintain possession and this is sometimes preferable to hoofing it up at the first opportunity? I am sure the players can hear/sense the fans frustration and consequently would be affected by such a reaction.
Latham8WFC Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Very good performance last night, is it me but when we play with abit of confidence we look like a top 10 side and then for some reason the confidence completely disappears and we look shit.....but enough of that all in all very happy with performance and the result. Thought Lee took his goal superbly, quality little give and go with Klasnic, and looked generally threatening whenever he got the ball. Why has Taylor suddenly gone shite, never looked bothered last night, Gardner has to start against Wigan. I'm very fucking hungover as ended up in BL1 til fuck knows when, so off to McDee's in abit for a hangover cure.......

Horwich Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Our first testing shot on target was from a central defender after 60 minutes. My point is that if we take 60 minutes to test a keeper from a shite team, we will struggle against better teams. Cracking results, but dont get too OTT with the performance. There will be many more tougher games infront of us.

The first shot on target was after about 20 seconds that but for the block that sent it just wide for a corner would have given us a great early lead. I know what your saying, we had too many good efforts in that first hour that went wide or high. I recall super headed chances for Knight and Davies, amongst a few good opportunities that we didn't get on target. As you say though, the first hour was a very poor game between two teams who were too scared to lose to want to really win it! It remined us of those horrible cold nights at Burnden against the likes of Scunthorpe - a poor game, in front of a poor crowd with a very poor atmosphere.

West Ham had that one weak shot from Dyer straight into Jussi in the first couple of mins, and Franco blazed one wide just before half time. That to me suggests a battering even before half time
