Piemon Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Didnt mind Elmander meself and has probably contributed more than Kevin Davies this season. If he has signed before the season ends then hes a cnut. Shut the door on the way out
Werder barmen Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 waste of space, worth a punt Galatasaray also announced the departure of former Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell on Thursday
Guest Blixa Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 To be fair, rather he's gone there than (say) Newcastle, where he would be destined to come back and bag a brace against us.
Werder barmen Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Quite apt as he was a turkey. more of a headless chicken
only1swanny Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Haven't we got that young un Tom Eaves from Oldham whos suppost to be good and yound danny ward.. Maybe give the chance to somebody up and coming.. Davies is established and Klasnic can have a half good game.. maybe pairing young legs with Davies will work??
victor meldrew Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 if he was on ?40k per week , as reported he will have probably paid about ?3 million in tax and n.i. , so he's paid for boltons pisspots, free beer for the last few years, so fair play to him. as previously stated , 2 months out of 36 is crap. bye bye
Mounts Kipper Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 (edited) I am in Istanbul at the moment, if he is paraded before the press before I leave 2 morrow, i will be there and I will say thank him for his effforts for a BWFC. Edited May 19, 2011 by Mounts Kipper

only1swanny Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 For the millionth time He may be alot of things but lazy he is not. In the slightest. What on earth do some folk watch?? probably overvalued but a good player if not an out and out striker..
richbwfc Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Looks like I'm the only one who thinks we will miss him next season then?
only1swanny Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Looks like I'm the only one who thinks we will miss him next season then? think hes a good member of the squad.. will be missed. Like most prolific players nowadays he was massively overpiced and it hits a club like ours more than others.. Most clubs wouldnt mind paying 8.2m for a decent striker but as we dont have much we expect more.
RUREADY2ROLL Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Right... sensible reply, He was never worth half what we paid for him. He was reasonably impressive on his debut against Stoke and scored, I thought we might have a real goodun signed on. I was wrong, he never showed a lack of effort, he always gave 100%, but most of the time he was running after lost causes, chasing down goalkeepers when he had no chance of getting it or making tackles on fullbacks at the cornerflag, he rarely did what he was paid to and that was terrorise the opponents defence and score goals. When he was trying to make himself attractive in the shop window at the start of the season he looked a different player nad scored some good goals. He was what we paid for, a proper striker. That, unfortunately, was only to sell himself and obviously Galatasaray have been wooed and he has managed to get himself a move to the third World country of Europe. As I said, I hope he get's dysentery! Effort isn't everything, you need to give everything you have including thought, loyalty and goals SPOT ON - PLUS HE WAS A COWARD ON THE PITCH AND BACKED OUT OF MORE TACKLES THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER
Eddie Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 As long as we get someone in that will score 10-15 goals a season then I'm not bothered. If not then we're deep in the shit, because I know for a fact that Davies will not be able to subsidise the loss of Elmo's goals. Infact in a perfect world we would have a completely new front-line and Davies used as an impact sub in the last 20 minutes, shame it won't happen and he will be the 1st name on the team sheet again next season.
Juan.Kerr Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Hang on, hang on. Top scorer by a mile. 5 out of a dozen in the WWays unofficial goal o' the season. Played out of position in midfield for a lot of the season. Can't be arsed looking it up but he must have got a few assists. Playing beside someone we've all admitted is past his sell-by date. Not getting the best of service from at best a poor midfield (not including Stuey). Fck me, Shrek would have struggled to get eleven. We'll miss him next season, mark me words.
SHAT Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Deffo not sorry to see the back of him.He did score goals BUT I think if he had put a bit more effort in then it could have been a lot more.Annoyed the fcuk out of me the number of times he shirked out of making a tackle or couldn't be arsed running for for a ball!
Guest Frandsen08 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Best of luck to him. We move on we always do. I heard Defoe isnt happy at the Jews worth a punt? Ps elmo u owe me ?20 u shithouse
