Gloria Stitz
There's just one thing keeping Owen Coyle at Bolton - the cost of sacking him...suspected by most to be in the region of ?7m. With the financial resources of the average Premier League club, the board would have pulled the trigger a number of weeks ago. Even though we know his tactical naivety is enough to beggar belief, he still remains very employable. All things considered, his record is one that would appeal to plenty of clubs with more potential than Bolton. Admittedly, we're talking about clubs in the Championship, but Coyle will know he's managing a sinking ship, and once its officially relegated, it will be in a far less enviable position to progress than many a Championship club. The managers of Forest, Ipswich, Derby and Leeds are all under huge pressure. Solution - offer Coyle to these clubs for free! It sounds like an idea that would never materialise, but one that suits every party! Thanks for reading, Gloria.
Theboybell
why would Coyle admit defeat and drop down a league?
