Loved my mate picking wool suits for his July wedding when I was his best man. I changed shirt 3 times ha ha

I’m planning to take a couple of spare shirts and undies.

Looks like heatwave is finishing sooner than expected , just in time for my day at the Test Match Sunday.

I blame the Indians and the good folk of Yorkshire , we got message this week that shorts are acceptable in bit we’re in.

Nowt wrong with the weather.

It's warm, as it should be this time of year.

We also get thunderstorms as a result.

Can be tough when working outside, but it could be much worse.

It pissed it down for much of last summer, and I know what I prefer.

I understand that but I was moaning because my mate from Hull has been on the blower and they get far less rain and more sunshine than we do. And when it's winter they get decent snow where we get slush.

He had a fair few digs of white over red roses too the bastard 🤣

If it wasnt for the fact a small but vocal proportion of people from Winchester are utter cunts, and house prices are ridiculous, I would happily have their climate again.

Just been up north of the Cromarty firth: They have drier weather that here, and proper cold/snow in winter too.

Surprisingly flat, with some wide valleys between the high peaks.

Good growing area.

Loads of midges though.

His bit will soon disappear underwater when global warming raises see levels- you'll have the last laugh.

Been up there many times on route to Orkney, but we also have met "half way" round there a few times so have seen quite a bit of the area. It's a lovely part of the world, apart from the midgies.

I'm in North Lancs, pretty close to the Cumbria border and we've had decent weather today.

The real, intense kick off got going a touch further north.

At one point the storm was registering 236 strikes per minute.

This shows the agglomeration of all the lightning strikes over a 24 hour period.

My old Staffie (now 14 yrs) is really struggling... any tips?

Our eldest dog is really struggling, so we'll be having to walk him at 06:00 tomorrow. When I say "we" I mean "she" of course. I was out with him at 05:30 this morning, so I've done my bit
