Traf Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 and, one for garpo, lillyhammer I watched Lilyhammer and found it a bit slow tbh. Quote
Whites man Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 and, one for garpo, lillyhammer It's short, x7 45 min episodes. Enjoyed it, there's some good characters but a second series would be stretching it. Quote
kaydan Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) one i've never watched but comes recommended is the corner (sort of prequel to the wire) only about 6 hours I tried to watch it once, but only got as far as middle of episode 2. It is truly grim viewing. Lots of actors from The Wire. I will try it again sometime. I would recommend the book Homicide - A Year On The Killing Streets by David Simon. You'll recognise a lot of names and situations from The Wire. It's a great read. Harrowing, but also lots of the Bunk, Mcnulty style humour from The Wire. Edited January 8, 2013 by kaydan Quote

I thought the last half was only going to be aired later this year, which is why I've not watched it since Series 4. I want to do it all in one big stint. So, is the full series 5 out there..? Quote

kaydan Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 But each 'half' is eight episodes so there is plenty to get stuck into before S5 Part Deux. Quote
