salop wanderer Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 My take on today: Whites bossed the first half and but for Weale might have led by more at HT. Sordell, Hall in particular and Eagles in flashes all showed up well. Three fantastic goals. After the break, Salop had much more of the ball and got a second with the sweetest of volleys. Parry is capable of that but he's a fair weather player and will soon enough revert to type. The 3rd? I was on commentary on ShrewsPlayer doing my best to hide my allegiance to all things white, but my cleaned up attempt at ZK's slip? Donkey plop. Thankfully for him and us he seemed to turn it around a bit during the season and put in some decent performances. I'm not a fan of Mears but some of the abuse dished out to people who work and play for the club we are all supposed to support is disgraceful at times Quote

He came on the pitch after the game to do some fitness work with Mills, Ream and Craig Davies. I stayed behind five minutes after full time. That's when some dick decided to mouth off. Anyway, Hall looks useful if not a bit lightweight. I like Tierney a lot, looks a proper nutter! Put a tackle in the second half and everyone whinced. Was a 50-50 but no way was he letting it go. Shrewsbury's second was an absolute stunner. Quote
