Very enjoyable

Was actually released as a film in the us, The tv series version has around 30 mins extra footage.

Very funny though.

Enjoying Southcliffe on 4. Slow burning, and moody. Good drama though.

They're making another one as we speak, but it's set abroad this time.

My favourite series of all time. Really funny, moving - just fantastic.

Cock and Bull story (where Winterbottom got the idea from) is also a good watch.

I've not watched it, but I meant to, it looks really good. I suppose I had best watch the first episode on iPlayer and play catch up

Yes, first episode was pretty impressive, they've obviously spent a few quid on it. It's based on a true story apparently. Birmingham was virtually ungovernable after WW1. There was even mention of St. Andrews last week, i bet that was a rum place back then.

Just watched the first episode of Peaky Blinders on iPlayer this morning, thought it was very good indeed. The BBC have clearly spent a fortune on it. Looks like it's going to be a cracking series with a few little sub-plots already starting to develop after the first episode.

As shallow as I am, the name put me off.

BBC Four.

Citizen Wank.

Best film of all time? Utter shite more like...

Loads of things which are now film cliches were done first in it, that's why the Mark Commode lot rate it so much.

I thought it'd be good, turned it over for MOTD2...

It were shite, thought I was watching one of Ed Wood's 'masterpieces' (or, more accurately, Tim Burton's version of his films).

I like King Kong mind.

Can I also add.

Orson Welles is a Tosser.

Or, more accurately;

Orson Welles was a Tosser.

Now those phrases have finally been immortalized by the internet. The former one never appearing anywhere according to Google, the latter, well mine is the fourth appearance, the other three refer to his job as a theatre bouncer.

I can die a fulfilled man now.
