you've missed the boat mate, already sold out. You might get a ticket for the "beam back" at Gigg Lane though

Gutted! Thought I'd left it a bit late.

Just had a quick look on stub hub and they are going for £150 in north upper!

Don't panic yet, just call the ticket office and put your name down for any that become available. I've heard a rumour that this is just the excuse they've been looking for to fill the corners in and put an extra three rows at the front, so there will be more tickets out soon, just be patient

Bury supporting (season ticket holding) mate reckons the Bucket Shakers are going to be bringing going on 3500 to this.

Would've preferred it, if it was at Gigg, they've got their big cup final already.

Think they brought about 2,500 last time and they're all giddy this time around now they've signed some players, so I can believe it.

Just ordered two tickets online thanks to this thread reminding me. Shame it's not away though.

Giddy is not the word over this way, half days holidays Bolton early doors by all accounts they will have a untouchable mob out, sure they brought 3.5k last time in cup

after ringing round city and FC United asking if they fancy it?!

i find it really difficult to not get wound up by tin pot shit clubs like these men and Wigan who always have and always will be in our shadow.

They have their chance(s) they confirm what we already know, theyre shit then the cycle starts again

Anyone aware why there's replacement buses running between Bolton & Horwich?

Ball ache next Tuesday

Yes lots of people. It's hardly been kept secret

Tuesday night is all set up for BWFC's usual "Bury Banana Skin".

Started watching Bolton in the mid 70s and we didn't play Bury from the late 60s until 1985. It took us ten league and cup games from 1985-1989 to finally beat them and overall record against them in league and cup since 85 is dreadful. Won 5 Drawn 7 Lost 12 - including six defeats at Bolton and some heavy league defeats (1-4, 2-4, 2-3, 1-3).

League Cup hasn't been much kinder -  defeat over two legs in 1986 in the first round (2-1 at Gigg Lane, 0-0 at Burnden). Our only win at Gigg Lane since the 1930s in 1993 (0-2 home defeat against Fourth Division Shakers which we clawed back with a 0-2 win at Gigg and then a win on pens), then the shambolic 0-1 home defeat to Bury in 2002 under Big Sam with us a Prem team and them in the lower reaches of the league.

You can bet your life Bury will play like they are on steroids on Tuesday. If our lot aren't up for it, we'll get embarrassed - and Bury will live off the joy for the rest of the season. I hope we can put one over one them - history tells me to be very guarded.

Wonder what team our genius will put out? Bogdan in goal? Two strikers at home to Div. 2 side might be a bit too risky so Mason on his own then. Hoping against hope that we don't have Medo, Danns, Pratley and Trotter all in the same midfield.
