Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee because she was partial to chip spice

They bang on about that being a great Hull invention even though it's basically cinnamon

And they put mint sauce on chips as well

It's a joke. VAR will get stick for the amount of time it has taken but it's the fucking idiot with the whistle that is the problem. Missed the blatant handball in real time. Shown clips of blatant handball, gives goal. Referees really are a bunch of fucking spunktrumpets.

The point i actually think he knew it was handball, he even stedied himself and took a age to announce it

This Casimiro wankfest is a bit of a joke - fat muppet who has bled their club dry (good!) through one of their worst periods ever and after 4 years he gets treated like a 1 club legend retiring at 40.

The bumchuffery around Ratboy's assists is vomit-inducing.

Cheating little cunt.

They were giving him dog's abuse until fairly recently

FA Cup Man of the Match ... the Referee.

Never once fooled by Chelsea's flopping about.

I have never been so uninterested in an FA Cup final in my life. It was only on Thursday that I realised it was cup final day on Saturday. Yesterday the sence of occasion was missing. The lack of atmosphere was embarrassing. And the jeopardy involved in the final was absent.

I was more excited about Eurovision.

I'm the same (minus Eurovision)

I think it's because it's more or less the same teams playing in it every year

And also that it's not on its own day at the end of the season anymore

That's what I was refering too with the absences of jeopardy. Every now and again a token team from outside the big lot get to the final. But more often than not it's one, or more likely two teams from the big 6 contesting the final. For different reasons the FAC has gone the same way as the RL Challenge Cup. This makes me sad for both.

What did you think of the winner?

Did you enjoy the UK act?

I thought she had nice tits. Didn't think much of the song.

I sat through the entire programme with 4 people and a dog that love Eurovision. I was ordered to supply the party snacks, balloons and glittery things. My living room was more camp than an Elton John concert. If I'm honest if I had the house to myself I would be watching Deadliest Catch.

in the 80s as a kid part of the day was walking to the newsagent and buying the match programme

then going for a kick about on the field after the match

we need to go back to times like these

Unfortunately that ship has sailed. The competition on the whole has lost its appeal. The biggest FAC giant killing of modern times, if not ever, happened this season and it has already been forgotten about. Even giant killings aren't what they use to be.

I also don't have any mates here or a field nearby to go for a kick about on

‘ang on. It was only last year that Palace won their first trophy.
Cup has lost it’s significance due to the perpetual hype of the Premier League and Europe .

But they did play one of the "big boys". Every now and again a team breaks the monopoly. It's bound to happen.

The Cup's fine. Palace winning was a big deal and there have been a few memorable finals recently (Leicester winning, United beating City under Ten Hag).

Problem this year was a final between two hollow shells of football clubs who are in the final every year. It's a uniquely bad match-up between two teams nobody likes but also aren't particularly fun to hate either.

Between the Premier League, Europe and the EFL playoffs you could've watched a game of football every day for the past fortnight and just about every one of them would've had more riding on it than City or Chelsea winning the cup.
