Garrp Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 haha, you still on it?? You seen the two blokes crash into eachother when they are all on the pitch? had missed that class haha Quote
MalcolmW Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 What bit of London are Watford in? Or Palace for that matter Palace SE25 Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 That's piss funny that video, I hate Leicester Quote
chief wiggum Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Palace SE25 And draw 95% 0f their support from the City of Croydon. London Club? Nah, not really. Quote
chief wiggum Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 When did Croydon become a city? Like Bolton, it keeps trying Seriously though, its hard to take Palace seriously as a London club when their big derby is against Brighton? Who last I looked are on the Sussex coast? Quote
chief wiggum Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 It's the biggest town in Europe. And they have tried to get City status, therefore don't feel part of London? Quote
pato Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Love that feeling though scoring an important goal against your rivals. When Eagles scored against Blackburn it was better than sex. Fucking dam right it was. It lasted longer aswell. And I got a pint afterwards. and you could have as many pints before without effecting the result Quote
jonnycooper Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Like Bolton, it keeps trying Seriously though, its hard to take Palace seriously as a London club when their big derby is against Brighton? Who last I looked are on the Sussex coast? They are at opposing ends of the M23 to each! A bit like preston and shitepool, ala M55. Quote
tomski Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Brighton and Bournemouth away better not be in the same month next season. Easter weekend double header would be awesome. Quote
gonzo Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 They are at opposing ends of the M23 to each! A bit like preston and shitepool, ala M55. Don't you live in fleetwood? Quote
MalcolmW Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Arsenal want to finish third in the league in order to go straight to the Group Stage of the Champions League. If they finish fourth they face a potentially tricky qualifier against the likes of PSV or Fenerbahce. (If they finish fifth they are in the Europa League qualifying play-off) If Chelsea beat Everton at the weekend Arsenal cannot be third. If Chelsea draw, or if Spurs beat Sunderland, Arsenal need two wins for a chance of third. Arsenal are well above Spurs on goal difference, but 4 behind Chelsea. If Arsenal can win by 4 tonight they can focus on any victory at Newcastle to gain third (unless Chelsea win, of course). Quote
Zico Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 And they have tried to get City status, therefore don't feel part of London? dunno, is it a bit like salford and manchester in that respect? palace's ground is in norwood which is in the london borough of croydon, - I don't think the brighton game is considered a derby, more a rivalry and their biggest one - probably as close as ipswich to norwich anyway Quote
Sweep Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I would class Palace as a London team, I wouldn't class Watford as one though and I'm not sure anybody else other than anewman would either Quote
jules_darby Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Great defending by the #winners They're gonna get beat by 3 or 4 tonight Quote
Garrp Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 there will be tears a plenty on here tonight Happy might have to pull the forum Quote
