mickbrown Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 it wasn't a surprise that we did back then though Not going here again, you have Rioch down as better No Rioch, no Prem, no Sam. Simple. If it wasn't for that bloke we'd still be pissing about with the likes of Bury and Tranmere. Quote
Carlos Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Big Sam's West Ham are piss poor so far today. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Big Sam's West Ham are piss poor so far today. They're saving themselves for the Champions League push. *snigger* Quote
Sweep Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 No doubt the West Ham fans will be calling for his head again after this result Quote

Guest Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 He'd win the double every year at a top club though....... Quote
Sweep Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 He's blaming too many games for today's defeat. Have they played that many more than their opposition today have? Quote

gonzo Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Sam did a great job for us and I thought he was fantastic, but in years to come, when the history of this club is written, he'll be a distance behind the likes of Ridding and Foweraker See I think you couldn't be further wrong. Under Ridding and Foweraker we were equals. Under Big Sam we weren't. He made us into equals. Quote

MickyD Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Really? I am not an old fan by any means but what Sam did for us in getting us European football on a regular basis and then nearly breaking into the top four, has anyone ever come close to doing that? You do realise we've won the FA Cup and finisghed in the top 4 in the past? We won FA Cups and came fourth in days when all clubs were on a fairly level playing field. Sam got us to those heady placesplaces despite hushing budgets a fraction of the size of some of the clubs around and before us. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Seems it didn't take spammers long to turn on him & Nolan again.. Quote

Sweep Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 He won't be there by the end of the season according to my WHU mate, he reckons he'll walk in the next few weeks. As soon as he does leave them, how long until we have whoppers saying "Pull out all the stops and bring him home" Quote
