Anderson Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Can't argue with that. Should just find a billionaire and make him buy us, then track down Messi and Aguero and make them sign for us as well. Quote
DazBob Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 We didn't let him go. He wouldn't sign a new contract. Why didn't we make him? Quote
EyesRight Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Did we have Phil jones as a kid? No. Blackburn released him at 15 as well and his mum came knocking on my door asking if he could do football coaching with me over the summer holidays. An injury to one of their academy lads in the summer and they gave him another shot. Quote

tomski Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Emmanuel morini and olaf snorrason will always be the most upsetting. I'm still waiting for them to be superstars to this day Quote

Sweep Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Kangana Lord N'Diwa never lived up to his potential. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I hear we've signed a new player on loan. I know nothing about him or the financial deal involved. But I'd just like to have a good moan about him and his lack of ability. I'd also like to blame Gartside and blame Lennon for spending the money, even if we are not paying anything for him. Finally, i would like to complain about us not signing a striker instead, even though I don't kmow if we are in negotiations to sign someone or if anyone is available. Oh yes, I would also like to complain about us letting Jaroslav Fojut go too. Quote

Dr Faustus Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 That moved a bit! I remember Snorrason on champ manager, great stats... Always sold for a good few quid Quote

jturner Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Thank God for that, I was really starting to worry about the lack of numbers in our midfield! Unbelievable. Our midfield's been shite since Holden got injured. If this lad is better than what we've got then no problem at all with the signing Quote
awandering Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Our midfield's been shite since Holden got injured. If this lad is better than what we've got then no problem at all with the signing He just needs to be better than Trotter for it to be a good deal, as the wages are probably similar so no change in budget or squad numbers. Casino Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 He just needs to be better than Trotter for it to be a good deal, as the wages are probably similar so no change in budget or squad numbers. he needs to be going in the first team, otherwise its pointless with more money gone that could possibly have paid for a striker Quote
Cheese Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 What makes everyone so certain we're contributing towards his wages? Quote
Casino Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 if we're not, great but if hes costing anything at all, he needs to have been signed with the first team in mind Quote
Plums Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 City will have signed him for their Australian counterparts Melbourne, the deal is probably just to keep his fitness up until January? Glad he's here all the same, but don't think it's as sweet as some are hoping. Quote
Farrelli Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 If that's true we've become a sub-feeder club for the Aussie league. Dear me how many slaps in the face will we take this season? Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 What makes everyone so certain we're contributing towards his wages? Well if we're not, let's hope there isn't a stipulation that he has to play. Either way the deal makes no sense to me in our current situation. Quote
