Watching Frasier from the start; very good and amusing telly

Wouldn't say too much for American comedy but Frasier was absolutely brilliant. Apart from Daphne's relatives who, in the main, sounded about as Manc as Danny Dyer.

I have watched the last 5 minutes if The Traitor for the last couple of nights waiting for the headlines.

Does anybody know what the actual fuck it is all about. Seems to be a bunch of people getting worked up about nothing and pretending they are in a 1970s Hammer Film. (without the scantily clad wenches)

Loved the old Hammer horror films they seem a bit tame now but they scared the shite out of me when I was a kid Wytchfinder General sticks in my mind .

There’s a Detectorists Xmas special apparently, I’ve not checked any details though.

They did one about 2/3 years ago.

Was a great series, so would like to see another....

Its total genius - from the theme by the great Johnny Flynn to every actor who bring just quality.

I reckopn we watch at least a few epoisodes a week and always have.

If you have younger kids - or even if you don't - check out Worzel Gummiage update from McKenzie Crook as xmas viewing - its superb as well. And has music from the also brilliant Unthanks.

I watched it a couple of times in lockdown found it helped with the stress   Gentle and subtle really well written . Be great if there is another Christmas special .

It's certainly something to put on when life gets a bit much.

Same with Gone Fishing.

Loved watching The White Lotus. Highly recommend. One episode of series 2 left to watch.

I really liked it nothing much happens but it’s an easy watch and there was a sting in the tail of the last series .

I know I've already mentioned it, but honestly, Bad Sisters is absolutely phnomenal.

It's on Apple TV which is why it's probably not getting much attention, but it's worth getting a free trial for.

Just started it this weekend, done 4 episodes so far.

You're right, it's very good. Claes Bang plays an absolute massive cunt so well....

Yeah its good and I've got a massive crush on Sharon Horgan, and Bono's daughter isn't too shabby either.

I'd split Bono's daughter clean down the middle just to annoy Bono

I assume you mean 1899?

I just found it dull. The premise is hardly groundbreaking either. Like a cross between The Matrix, Red Dwarf and Dallas.

Yep. Was nonsense.
