Blimey.

What's happened to WW.

Dunno mate. I'll ask the wife. She'll know.

I'm on here because she's watching something about two sweary jocks.

Depends what you like, The Bear was the best bit of TV this year by a country mile, but some it didn't do it for others.

If you missed it, don't, it's just superb.

Ta, we’ll take a look. Hope it’s better than The Revenant.

Don’t really like anything weird, supernatural, all scientific, so I’m guessing “1899” on Netflix is a no? Trailer looked good. But reviews talk about other dimensions, parallel worlds, etc, etc. Anyone watched it?

Don’t do it.

Its Red Dwarf set on a 19th century boat. With tedious characters and a painfully slow plot

Was talking about that to the missus last night, he’s still in good Nick. Clint Eastwood is still doing stuff and he’s 92!

Happy Valley started off well last night

Also started Wednesday, looks very promising, can't beat a bit of Tim Burton

Started Tulsa King and Peripheral before the world cup but lost my stride with footy on most nights instead so need to get back into those at some point

As ever in January there's loads of films I've told myself I need to watch as well

Myself and Mrs Sweep watched them all over the festive period. I didn't want to like it, but it wasn't too bad. It was a bit Harry Potter for me in bits, but a very easy watch. I'd have liked a bit more Morticia (Catherine Zeta Jones) in it.....

Vikings Valhalla back on the 12th Jan.

Been watching a Vietnam doc over Xmas on sky as something else away from the festive specials. Music by Trent Reznor and Atticus whatshisname - brilliant programme. Some of the Sky docs are the best things around.

Black Butterflies on Netflix didn't disappoint - other than leaving me wanting more. A bit too much gruesome violence and shagging for some folk I'd imagine, but if you like serial killer dramas with some great plot twists, check it out. (Set audio for English obvs) Only 6 episodes though.

Had echoes of that thing a couple of years ago with the guy killing hippie tourists in Thailand, but better.

I'll look out for that as me and the missus have watched the lot since she took a shine to Uthred in The Last Kingdom

Nice recommendation mate. We watched the first three episodes last night. Finish it tonight no doubt.

Sounds right up my street. Thanks for the recommendation. Read out your description to the Mrs, she’s well up for it!
