GT needs to learn to tackle gets way too many yellow cards as for Dempsey he had a poor season mainly because of his back issues but when at his best is our best ball winner.

I watch the EFL highlights show. I fast forward to the Bolton game, then turn it off as soon as they move on to the next one. No idea why, because I either attended the game, or watched it live anyway. Each to their own innit.

Our problem last year wasn't really scoring goals or even keeping them out, it was breaking down those teams positoned around us, with a similar player quality etc. Randall isn't going to solve that, we already have 3 similar players of a similar quality. What will solve that is, quicker transitions, closing down space, winning the ball back in their half, getting those second balls and redistributing the ball. Last season when we had a free kick we might as well as just passed it back to their goal keeper.

We 21 goals from set pieces of which 1 was a direct free kick, 7 were penalties, another half-dozen were indirect free kick goals where the scorer got a tap in or a header. Our shot number from seat pieces is near the bottom of the league. Many of those goals come against the lower teams too. We're not retaining the ball after our set pieces.
