We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

Why would the club do that when the squad already has Osei-Tutu. Gale. Mendes Gomes and Cissoko to provide glimpses of talent but not tthe end product.

A ten is a ten. Some drift, some don't. But they play behind the striker and dictate the attack.

Unless less they play for Bolton.

Deffo a false 10 :D

I think I'd rather see a solid CB come in over another ST, although we do need both. I think a lot of the issues can be fixed with coaching and training, but the clock is already ticking

He scored for them yesterday.

Dapo didn’t start for St Pauli but came on in 87th minute in draw with Dortmund yesterday so there are no obvious signs he’s on the move.

Since they got promoted he's spent more time on the bench then off it, doesn't start much if at all, so may be tempted by regular football elsewhere

If it's true that we've still not given up on Kenny, then the only way it makes sense to me is if we've been told we're first in the queue for a loan move if and when they sign a striker

Does anyone think we have had a offer for Mcatee.....Schumacher said tactical i am not convinced

Will see in the coming week

Tactical- a polite way of saying he's not doing well enough?

As he scored against Barnsley, you would expect him to at least be on the subs bench.

The fact that he wasn't says a lot for me.

Aye, though we saw JDC totally dropped last week, then the captain benched so who knows

He got ten mins or so v Reading

SS is definitely a horses for courses manager from what we've seen so far

It would have to be a decent offer considering we're still paying for him. Same as the AC situation, I suppose.

JDC had been twatted at Barnsley, and I'm not sure he was dropped as such.

Obviously, there is some rotation going on (which I don't think is necessarily for the best), but McAtee hadn't been starting and wasn't in need of a rest.

If not a move, then surely he's had a rollicking.

Rodgers is un real trouble up there, the board seem to have turned the tap off (generally, or to him) & he's dropping heavy hints that he needs new players, knows who they are but he's frustrated.

Most Celtic fans want him out and don't trust his recruitment policy/record. Despite their endless trophy wins, he's on borrowed time

If they get turned over by a side from Kazakhstan in midweek that pressure will ratchet up. I heard the other week he was grumbling about lack of investment in new signings.

Both Glasgow clubs could be changing manager before the dark nights draw in

He could sell 3 and not buy anyone and we'll see those pictures of them celebrating multiple trophies in April and all singing we are the champions etc and Rodgers (or new manager) saying what a great team they have.  God knows how players and fans keep their enthusiasm and excitement up there.  Manager getting stick, players getting booed, oh look, we've won the league by 12 points and done the double.

Absolutely. I've a very good mate who is Celtic through and through up here, but he is totally exasperated with Rodgers and the board, whilst also understanding their decisions in not fully backing the manager

Like you rightly say, the fans especially are finding it hard to find any enthusiasm, God only knows how the players feel on a weekly basis

Angela Raynor is available and they'd still win the league with 5 games left.
