A bit like watching us first half against Lincoln?

Both those teams last night were tedious!

And for 90 minutes plus.

Three days to go. I’m expecting some transfer activity, but I’m wondering who will take those surplus to requirement as they earn above the standard they play at.

Well if nothing happens today lusty then it’s bite your nails, panic time on Monday because nowt’s gonna happen tomorrow and Sunday. I must admit to being amazed that nothings happened this week so far because surely discussions must be ongoing both in and out but clearly nothing has so it looks like last minute moves are on the cards but since there are only so many hours in a day and our management can’t be everywhere on Monday I suspect there may not be as much activity as many of us were expecting? 😕

We'll go with what we've got!

Well Celtic have signed another forward, some Belgian U21 on a 5 year deal so does that finally mean they’ll allow Kenny to leave? I mean how many forwards do they need when they can’t all play? To be honest, if Kenny was only a loan I think I’d pass on him and either look elsewhere or as Whitestar says, go with what we’ve got.

There will be transfer activity - ins and outs.

I’ve heard they have been very busy this week. They have not been sat on their arses doing nothing.

It’s the nature of the transfer game that deals go to the wire.

Nothing to be amazed about.

Celtic look to be selling a striker to Swansea so Kenny deal may not happen .

Given that Kenny is unproven at any level beyond League of Ireland, I’d be comfortable with a loan. Of course, if he turns out to be the real deal, then we may find ourselves priced out. But if his goals take us to the Championship, the player himself might be inclined towards us.

Obsession with Kenny, ain't happening, move on..  No way will the board allow more money for an unproven player, having spent about 4m last season on players that just aren't performing.

I reckon Dan's last injury might have been one too many. Seems very odd that a player has been "written off", after a development loan last season to another League one Team. He also didn't play after his injury for Cambridge, even after recovery. It does happen and he might just want to cling on to a years pay before he goes..

Victor will be an asset when he's back. He obv bulked up for last season to play a holding role, and it affected his movement massively.

As a striker he's got a 1 in four record at this level..

👍 hopefully they come out and make a statement that BWFC never have to hear of him again

I don't think Dan's loan was a development loan

He's too old for that

The only thing more baffling on this thread than the obsession with Kenny at this stage, is the insistence on bringing up Vic. I'd wager he'll never play a game for us again.

Bit of a shock but 60 mill for simons !!     We can't turn that down,    reet now let's get a striker, a number 10 and a right back .

I find it baffling that some folk struggle to see the talent, running and strength Kenny has compared to say Burstow, even though he’s just turned 22. Lad has a bright future and it’s just a shame our lowball offer encouraged Celtic to offer him a contract because I reckon a million wasn’t out of order, especially as we’ve splurged a helluva lot of dosh on League 1 standard players who haven’t lived up to their price tag as yet.

As for Vic, you never know but I hope he makes the grade.

Huge amount of assumption in that statement of fact.

In reality, we don’t know what we offered, we don’t know if it was lowball, we don’t know what their plan was with him, we don’t know if we changed their plan with our apparent offer and we don’t know if an offer of a million would have had any different outcome.

Even though he's a bit of a "yesterdays man" I see that Mourinho has been sacked by Fenerbahce - but I wonder if any PL teams might be tempted by him (Potter and Amorim must both be close to being fired at the minute)  -  I'd love to see him at West Ham, as they'd absolutely fucking hate him

The Special one won't end up at Man U again, hopefully they'll get Southgate instead.

He did once say he might go to a club that doesn't play in Europe after leaving Fenerbache but that's probably bollocks

I find it baffling that a player 99% of folk on here had never heard of until a few months back, who most have still never seen play and only watched a highlight reel on YouTube (if that), and has only really played competitively in the Irish league, is somehow the saviour of our season and we should break the bank for him.

If he comes, I hope you are right, but there is no guarantee that the ability you have 'seen' will be any better than what we have got and spur us on to success

You must of missed his running and strength (yes I have too)

That's Man Utd 😉

I'd imagine the Saudi League would chuck a fortune at him, so no surprise if he ended up over there
