The staff, police and clean up bills alone were stupidly high. Once Chis Martin had been paid and his rider covered for his wife (she fancies me), there's fuck all. They, or their promoter, would surely pay the venue a fee, call it rent, to host the gig and then they make their money back on merchandise and tickets! We're not paying UKIP to have their do at our place are we? Unless someone is shit at sums, and it wouldnt surprise me if they were, the only way you don't make any money is if you don't find out much the police and clean up costs etc first and include these in the cost to rent the stadium Quote

If it was a roaring success, we'd be at it every summer. I suspect the Manchester venues have better negotiators than us. And I'd still let Paltrow wash my wanksock Quote
