And again, with teachers, if you have a labour shortage, you need to fucking do something

Apparently the chief inspector of schools, who is probably 'independent' said in december the system is fucked

It's weird how these fuckers who are so keen on market forces forget all about them when it comes to paying teachers and nurses.

Nothing to do with Brexit that really, as it was never, ever going to work. Anybody who thought it would, really needs their bumps feeling. Starting for scratch, with no major backing, it was always going to fail. Still, some folk would have made a lot of money out of it I'm sure

I think only Miami would have been ridiculous enough to suggest that surely.

I wonder if he's got his TVR yet 😉

Sums this shower of shit up when an ex Chancellor sets up a tax avoidance scheme but even messes that up so ends up owing tax.

Also that when Kier Starmer bought a donkey sanctuary for his mum it was headline news with the usual papers but this seems to have gone unnoticed

Why buy a donkey sanctuary when you work in one?

Who is it you're speculating may be doing the brushing?

Apparently all remainers do is scour the internet for absolutely anything negative they can highlight about Brexit.

Trouble is, you don’t have to scour hard to find plenty of shit.

So when something potentially negative about the EU crops up, it must be highlighted at once. The scouring is harder, but Mounts is prepared to put the hours in,

Very interesting listen on Brexit from Heseltine. Really interesting to hear a tie-dyed in the wool Conservative talk about Brexit, the Poll Tax etc I didn't agree with him on many things but by god, where has this level of politician gone. If you are a Conservative you'd be weeping aftering listening to this. Fan of Sunak though (basically after the shitshow of Johnson and Truss!)

I’d think those with the most to lose would be looking for the biggest brush they can find…. They’ll be linked to the European Union though that’s for sure… and I’ll guess at a high level.

That is really good. Hesaltine is an authority on British post war politics and his opinions are very insightful. The current Tory lot are vacuous imbeciles in comparison.

To be fair though, we've been fighting this fight since The Diggers. Nowt new under the sun.

A film worth watching...

Ah the Diggers ❤️

Sad news about Dartmoor. Land ownership is as feudal as it ever was.

Used to love camping that way when I lived over there. Hopefully people continue to do it and the police focus on more important things.
