Brilliant from Lawson. Fairbarns face at the end is a picture.

Never trust the posts of man who doesn't know the difference between Bitter and Lager.

Might attend the Conservative Party conference this year

Nope. If you need to form a "war cabinet" to contend with the issues of a No Deal Brexit, persuing a No Deal Brexit to retain your power is clearly not in the interests of the country. We are not at war.

It is not a war cabinet - it is an inner circle to enable quick and sound decisions.

Remember Blair had a kitchen cabinet, although that was to exclude the civil servants.

Erg mumbo jumbo - an opinion also?

Therefore equally as valid.

And a lot more positive- our country isn't about to be destroyed.

That's not how reality works.

But earlier in the thread Mounts was saying the UK could end up breaking up because of this.

So it will be broken but not destroyed ?

A price worth paying because we had a vote.

This is the equivalent of "I've got a black friend, so I'm obviously not a racist".

Spending a couple of months in Malaga every year and playing football with a Spaniard doesn't mean you're "integrated" into the Spanish culture.

You are a clueless cunt. Hopefully I can get the ignore function working again or maybe go out with a bang at 25,000 up.

Fools only bring you down to their level so arguing with a worthless turd like you is an exercise in futility/trip to the bottom.

Fingers crossed the latter. You won't be missed. Don't let the door smash your fat arse on the way out.

Yes.

Scotland had a referendum, and it's vote was upheld. Simple.

If some English folk had been up in arms because they wanted rid of the Scottish, they would have rightly been told to piss off.

Britain has had one. Time to uphold that one.

SNP will make capital out of whichever way we leave.

They and other remain oriented individuals can't be allowed to stop the result from being enacted because they don't like it.

If at a later date, another Scottish vote yields a different result, fine.

Oh just fuck off, casually accusing folk you’ve never met of racism is utterly despicable.

I've read enough of his diatribe nonsense to make my own mind up thank you. Much in the same way you make your judgements of others that you have never met yet quite freely call them all the names under the sun... Works both ways

Whatever folk call one and other on here is one thing, calling out someone racist when you’ve never met him based on a couple of posts is lower than low.

I haven't met Trump nor have i met Tommy Robinson but i believe them both to be racists, what's the difference?

Edit: have you actually read the definition of racism? Here you go...

It was first defined by the Oxford English Dictionary (2nd edition, 1989) as "[t]he theory that distinctive human characteristics and abilities are determined by race"; the samedictionary termed racism a synonym of racialism: "belief in the superiority of a particular race".

By that definition, noticing that black Africans are characterised by their dark skin, (often) flat nose with wide nostrils, (often) tight curly dark hair, (often) dark iris, etc., makes me racist... or observant.

Human characteristics refers to things other than "what they look like".

It's the belief that one race is superior over another that makes a person a racist. You can have white muslims and black jews so it's not necessarily a colour argument. When it comes to religion though you could argue the islam is not a race yet it is deemed racist to take a position that it is inferior to another in the same vein as anti semitism has taken centre stage in the Labour party. I have taken enough stick on here for my faith and the fact that my grandparents are from Ireland to know that some posters discriminate on a religious basis.

1000 jobs at risk from a no deal brexit at Vauxhall Ellesmere Port plant. Company says they will not build the new Astra there if we leave with no deal. Tough shit.

You missed the key word out "Might"

Another key word ignored - 'port'...

Unencumbered by EU shackles Ellesmere can get back to its original business, there'll be ample alternative employment for a 1000 and more landing and processing; tea and silks from Cathay, ebony and cacao and coffee from the Americas, spices from The Raj and slaves, ivory and sugar from Barbary and Senegal...

They didn't even say that!

Threatening to move it should it not be profitable afterwards.

That's fair enough; would apply to any company in any country if it's not making money.

PSA bought vauxhall and it's inevitable that streamlining has/will occur.

A clever bit of management, shift blame for any bad news? Surely not.
