Ghana White Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Shit went to my school Morrison. Played for bolton youth team used to see him burnden terrace alot. Had a terrible knee injury that ruined his career. Was a nice bloke. Awful news Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) Saw him quite a few times play for the reserves looked good prospect but unfortunately the injury did for his career. Very sad for the folk killed and maimed. Edited November 7, 2017 by Mounts Kipper Quote
Dr Faustus Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Played with him at RMI before snapped up at Bolton; weird the different paths life can take you Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Not sure why cloughs name needed chucking in, mind Can see why when it was a text conversation with Zach that caused it. No doubt some nob will associate Clough with the offence and pillory him for it though. Quote
enzo gambaro Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Can see why when it was a text conversation with Zach that caused it. No doubt some nob will associate Clough with the offence and pillory him for it though. Doubt it. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Doubt it.Well there's a surprise! Quote
BoltonBoy80 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Pretty sure he had double compound fracture playing for Scunthorpe reserves at Scunthorpe. Injury was so bad game was abandoned. Nice lad from nice family. This is a warning for all those who think it’s ok to be on your mobile while driving. Quote
Eavesy Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 The new iOS update with the automated text back and having to ‘declare’ I’m not driving has definitely reduced my phone usage whilst driving (mainly when stationary) Quote
MancWanderer Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Why would anyone text on their phone whilst driving? Just make the call on hands free? Dick. Might have been a nice bloke and all but absolutely stupid 44 messages sent whilst driving in very bad weather? Fuck me!!!! Quote
stevieb Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I've seen folk walk into lamp posts texting. If you can't walk and text you sure as fuck shouldnt be driving and texting. Quote
captainmed Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 So he wasn’t texting at the time? Average speed of 81mph. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone........ Quote
deane koontz Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 So he wasn’t texting at the time? Average speed of 81mph. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone........ He was Texting in the moments leading up to the accident on a motorway in stormy conditions. Are you taking the piss? Quote
Blondi Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Been out with my dog at about 7.30 this morning and there are some complete dicks driving off without defrosting their cars properly, driving with a frozen windscreen with limited vision ffs. Quote
Zico Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 So he wasn’t texting at the time? Average speed of 81mph. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone........ we've all done it, this is a reminder you probably shouldn't it was more than the odd text as well, he was having conversations back and forth, so clearly distracted be interesting to see which way the jury goes - he's admitted careless driving, but not dangerous driving, presumably a more lenient sentence Quote
gonzo Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Been out with my dog at about 7.30 this morning and there are some complete dicks driving off without defrosting their cars properly, driving with a frozen windscreen with limited vision ffs. I say it every year but it never ceases to amaze me how people can't simply pour a jug of luke warm water on their windscreens to defrost it. You don't need de-icer, you don't need boiling water, you don't need to scrape ice with a cd case. One bastard jug of Luke warm water is all it takes. It really isn't hard. Quote

He was warned he faces a substantial jail term when he is sentenced on 23 November. Edited November 8, 2017 by Casino Quote
