Vis. Formerly a military base where Tito kept his submarines. Whole island is riddled with tunnels. Only fairly recently been opened up to the public hence it's pretty much unspoilt.

Stayed in Makadi Bay, but didn't venture out of our complex tbh.

Just booked Paphos for 11 nights late June/early July. Wasn’t planning on going AI but it was only about £150 difference so daft not to really.

Hope Wigan aren’t claiming the naming rights to Westleigh International. 

Venice was great, permanently lost but great fun

Got a boat to Lido and Murano, watched them make the glass which was really impressive 

Did a Gondola ride for the experience 

Boat to and from the airport was good, some great views 

Horrible experience on the flight home, felt like we was free falling coming I to Manchester, about to land, could see the runway before the pilot put the plane back up as the wind was blowing the plane all over, loads crying and few having panic attacks, got us down at the 2nd attempt

Had similar on our way to elevenerife when I was a kid, taking off in strong winds was fun. My mum is a very nervous flyer. My then 8yr old brother found it hilarious and shouts 'we're all gonna die!' then laughs his arse off as my mum and others burst into nervous tears. Didn't envy my dad having to tell him off whilst clearly finding it hilarious.

Bit harsh seeing as you won’t have seen me drunk for 12 months 

went Paphos a few years ago - it was alright but I wouldn’t rush back. Marina/harbour thingy was alright.

went 2 years ago, 1st time we did all inclusive, we enjoyed it, ventured out some afternoons and nights, as a beer snob, theres a few places about but it wasn't cheap, but must admit I enjoyed the drinking black Russians for breakfast
