Mounts Kipper
I know it’s mentioned elsewhere but this good news deserves a thread if it’s own. Credit where it’s due Parkinson and David Lee must have played a big part in these lads staying. Were on our way back. 👍 https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17652781.bolton-wanderers-secure-rangers-spurs-norwich-target-to-longer-deal/

Leyther_Matt
Good news that it has protected the potential £300,000 fee. Less so that we don’t seem to be in a position to give him a pro deal, although hopefully that will change post-admin.
Roger_Dubuis
Something isn't right here. Last week the club was pleading abject poverty and taking donations off Preston, Huddersfield and Blackpool because we were too skint to pay the tea lady. shop assistants and filing clerks. This week there is suddenly enough money to offer the club's best young player an improved contract. The dodgy financial behavior at our beloved club continues

auckland_bwfc
They tied up a few others also, including Darcy - who also appeared to know his way around a footy pitch in his Forest cameo.....good news!
DLH
I'm still glass half full... the fact that they have signed is the best news... not need to, particularly Connell.

Not an improved contract, just a continuation of his existing one. So very low cost.
Wanderlust
We still have a mountain to climb to fight off the interest in Harry Brockbank though. It's a Brockbank Mountain so presumably Parky will bend over backwards to keep him.

barrycowdrill
See it as a small glimmer of light. For once. Connell was stopped from extending numerous times by his old man due to the ongoing circus. Which is completely understandable hopefully he/they can see a very small turn in our fortunes & had assurances things will get better which has led him to re sign

Would assume it’s mutually agreed to a certain degree club might have every intention in the world. If Connell isn’t happy then what happens? Farrelli
I think we will lose him this Summer but at least the administrators have shown they are trying to protect our assets. If he does go presumably we can negotiate a sell-on clause for future transfers
