Felgate
Probably should have been said by all of us long ago...massive respect to those that have stuck with it, through bad times and bad...
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted August 9, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 9, 2019 Of course football clubs need money but without these staff working the hours they have, not knowing whether there’s any pay for them, the club would be nothing
Ani
Fully agree. The staff have shown themselves to be as big a part of the club as the fans. Their loyalty is incredible.

Great post and for me shows by them sticking it out, what they do is much more then just a job. From one personal account of a person who is very much central to the match day experience, they kept going because of their love of the club and hadn't been paid since November. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 9, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 9, 2019 Ticket office and club staff always been decent, never had an issue. Ticketmaster is a different story. Hopefully the new lot will take that into account, and give 'our own' a bit of a bonus. Can use JM's saved wages. Moderators Casino Posted August 9, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted August 9, 2019 When all this is over, it would be nice if the club could give the staff a hospitality experience at a game We could show our appreciation of their efforts As much as my head is mashed over having no team, it doesn't compare with no team, no job

Johnnyrotten
If we had anyone in charge they should be putting a ‘tips’ box by the entrance to the ticket office and a simple note saying thanks to the staff for sticking with us. I would have happily thrown a couple of quid in today, or tomorrow. But we don’t have anyone to organise anything like that.

I’m lucky enough to have recent first hand experience of seeing the staff at the coal face and, as long as the administrators and/or new owners utilise their experience and expertise, our club is in safe hands

Great shout I think we can sort that once we know there's going to be a game more than 20 minutes before kick off
Ani
It would be difficult to organise but getting as many staff as possible on the pitch at half time in a game would be the best way to give the fans a chance to say thanks.
