Mounts Kipper
Iles tweeted that Crawford did not hear the tell tale pop, hopefully just a twist. Edited October 29, 2019 by Mounts Kipper

Blondi
Just read an article why James Weir was subbed after 37 minutes or so, was he that bad last night? Looks like he has no future under KH.

Looks like he has no future under KH. He contributed to the 1st goal but there were a lot of misplaced passes. Also didn’t track City’s runners. Not great but shouldn’t be publicly singled out by Hill unless he’s doing the same in training. Daryl Murphy did little other than miss a gilt edged chance - he got taken off at HT but not mentioned. marple whites
We really must have run over a few black cats !! Just starting to gel and we are now missing 2 influential midfielders !! Could City not lend us a spare or 2 ?

We only have one squad space and can only fill it with a player not under contract anywhere. Come January our loans are up so we'd be able to have some space to recruit fresh blood if some of those loans went back.
Roger_Dubuis
When a club doesn't do a competent pre season, I don't think its bad luck when it picks up more injuries than most

The ones we're picking up have nothing to do with fatigue - they are impact or freak injuries. Crawford got his heels clipped and his studs planted. You can do all the pre-season training you want - it makes fuck all difference to that scenario. Same with broken collar bones and dislocated knees and the freak injury Early picked up day one (after he'd had a full pre season).
